This place will absolutely blow you away. Even if you arent vegan the food will leave you wanting to come back. Staff were delightful and the ambience is perfect for really any occasion. Quiet yet lively; relaxed and chill but not kitsch. But the food is stellar; everything is vegan but the way they play with flavors is out of this world. Everything i have had is fresh and absolutely delicious as well flavorful. The vegetables are crisp; the noodles are hearty; the fried stuff is cooked perfectly and not over-breaded; the sauces complement whatever dish they come with etc. This place is an absolute gem for our area. If youre ever playing the "you pick a place" for dinner game go here. Or come try it and when you want to show friends a great place in the area. You definitely wont be disappointed.

*Incredible* dishes that have been thoughtfully out together. Hands down the best vegan restaurant in the area and one of my all time favorites anywhere. A must stop!

Vegan AF hits all the right notes & more… lovely, inviting people & atmosphere, wonderful service & deliciously elevated vegan eats. My husband and I had dinner there last night & all of it was amazing, from the arancini and garlic parmesan sweet potato rounds as starters, to the risotto & meatball mains paired with white wine, & finally the delectable chocolate mousse dessert. We left satisfied but not stuffed in the way you may expect given all we ate and It’s because it’s all plant based high quality ingredients in every bite. Highly recommend making a rezzie {it’s popular} & heading over to Vegan AF ASAP! :)

Wonderful service, I called an hour in advance to make a last minute reservation for Thursday evening. The place was packed when we arrived. The appetizers - Brussel sprouts and Chilli - blew us away. We highly recommend them.

However, the entrees were less exciting - instant ramen and kimchi fried rice. Perhaps the meatloaf might have been a better option.

We would still visit this restaurant again for the good vibes and service, however, I might not expect authentic Asian flavors for certain dishes.

Wow!!! SO tasty! The Swedish meatballs are simply unbelievable. Maybe the best vegan “meat” I tried in my life. It tastes really like meat. Quite shocking.

Nestled in the heart of Brattleboro, Vegan As AF is a bold, flavor-forward gem that instantly wins you over with its inventive, fully plant-based menu. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere felt fun and welcoming—laid-back yet full of energy, like a hidden spot only locals whisper about but everyone should know. We ordered the Pra Ram Tofu, Kimchi Fried Rice, and their award-winning chili, and each dish brought its own personality to the table. The Pra Ram Tofu came drenched in a luscious peanut sauce, rich and perfectly balanced with steamed veggies and a tender tofu that soaked up every drop. The Kimchi Fried Rice had a satisfying kick—spicy, tangy, and just the right amount of funk to keep you going back for more. But the real standout was the chili—a total surprise. It wasn’t your typical smoky, savory bowl; instead, it had this unexpected sweet BBQ flavor that was downright addictive. Each spoonful layered spice, sweetness, and depth in a way that made us pause and smile after every bite. We left full, happy, and already plotting our return. In fact, we both agreed we’d drive all the way back to Brattleboro just to eat here again. Vegan or not, this place deserves a spot on any food lover’s list. ⭐️ Overall Rating: 5/5 Must Try: Award-winning chili Vibe: Cozy, creative, and proudly bold Worth the Trip?: Absolutely — even from hours away
