Hands down, Best cafe in the US. We live in Newport and drove to Island Pond to check out the cafe. My husband and I travel around the US going into cafes and Three Branches Cafe is by far the best cafe in the US. The outside and inside atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. All of the baked goods are made fresh every morning. The Gluten Free Scone was delicious. The cold brew coffee was so good, my husband had to get a second. The yummy marshmallows are homemade for the hot chocolate. I think my favorite part is the experience you get when you order a tea. The prices are extremely fair and affordable. Labor and food costs are very high at the moment, so their prices are low compared to other cafes. I highly recommend the drive to Island Pond to check out this amazing cafe.

Three Branches Cafe and Bakery is hands down one of the best gems in the area. The coffee is incredible—bold, smooth, and made with clear attention to quality. Their sweets are just as unforgettable, with every pastry and baked good tasting like it was made from scratch with love. But what truly sets Three Branches apart is the people. The customer service here is unmatched—they don’t just remember your name, they make you feel like family from the moment you walk through the door. It’s clear that they genuinely care not only about their customers but about the whole community. Whether it’s supporting local causes or simply creating a welcoming, inclusive space, they embody what it means to be a community hub. If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious treats, and a place that feels like home, Three Branches is it. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Three Branches Cafe and Bakery! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the owners and staff, who go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, with cozy nooks perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I tried one of their delicious lattes, and I was thrilled to find gluten-free options. This cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots to unwind and enjoy a treat. It’s clear that the team pours their heart and soul into everything they do, from the amazing coffee to the delightful baked goods. I can’t recommend Three Branches enough — whether you’re looking for a quick coffee fix or a lovely place to spend some time, you won’t be disappointed!

The food, atmosphere and staff are all wonderful. I highly recommend coming in for donuts on Friday, the best I’ve ever had.

A regular spot anytime I'm in Island Pond. Pierre and Erin have created a warm and inviting place with great locally-roasted coffee and drinks and a good selection of baked goods and breakfast options. I recommend the bagels, muffins, and sausage rolls, but everything I've had there is very good.

This is a really awesome and cozy little spot in downtown Island Pond where the people are super friendly and the environment is highly communal. All the drinks are delicious, and the baked goods are excellent. I would definitely come back, as I enjoyed visiting almost every day.

Amazing little place, and the TASTIEST maple pecan coffee cake, holy moly. Also, I tried 6+ different maple lattes on my trip through New England and this place by far had the absolute best.

An overall awesome cafe, with tons of little touches that make it a great experience. Customizable, varied, and still reasonably priced breakfast options are appreciated. I really enjoyed my espresso drinks as well.

All the baked goods I tried were fantastic, but the scones in particular are excellent, light and crumby, not the dry bricks one often finds in cafes.

It can be hard to find a good cafe in the area, this one is worth the drive.

We were just visiting to do some mountain biking and leaf peeping and are very happy with everything we got. Super friendly staff. The maple latte was exceptional. I love the variety of baked goods they have. They had homemade bagels and they even put the seasoning on both sides of the bagel, which you rarely see! We went two days in a row. We all thought the scones were the best we’ve ever had, biscuit-like instead of like a muffin!
