Some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. We’d rate the burger 7/10. The edamame hummus was such a different appetizer and tasty! Service was lacking a little but understandable since it was busy. Tables were disgustingly sticky. Our drinks kept getting stuck. We almost split them trying to scrape them off the table.
The Bobcat Cafe is a much loved local pub in Bristol. I have been a customer since it opened over 20 years ago through many owners. The current ownership is trying to follow in the same footsteps as the successful stewardship of the last 16 years. The menu remains pretty much the same with a few changes. I quickly noticed the change in the quality and quantity of ingredients. Prices have gone up, which I understand. The fish tacos and burgers have been a mainstay for many regulars....
I had the delicious Soy Braised Pork Belly Bibimbap.
Crispy Sesame Rice, Kimchi, Pickled Seaweed & Cukes, Gochujang, Local Scallions, Neilan’s Favorite Egg.
This was served in a cast iron pan, so it was nice and hot.
Great and fast service.
