Waited 30 minutes for an iced coffee and medium latte (to-go). Quality of the coffee was not great, the iced coffee was undrinkable. We are up often and this was my first time here, perhaps this was an off day/time for the shop, but after that experience I will not return or would recommend.

The food and coffee were both stupendous. I had the Mountaineer Breakfast sandwich, with sausage and bacon (the bacon was done perfectly, peppered, seasoned and medium crispy). The cold brew coffee with maple syrup shot was excellent. On top of app of that, the staff were polite and vibe inside perfect for a New England coffee house in a renovated old building. Highly recommend if you’re in Burke.

Funky, fun, fab food. And a game of chess for some brain food, too. The nice people and the light in this place makes it extra special.

Good coffee. Food is pretty solid and they have free Wi-Fi. There is a nice laid back ambiance inside and the people are nice.

I got a breakfast burrito and it was pretty plain, eggs, cheese, bacon, but good ingredients. Yummy yummy bacon. My partner got quiche and a muffin which she said were good.

Great start to the day with excellent coffee, tasty breakfast sandwiches and 80's music (complete with accompanying vocals by the friendly staff). A must visit while in East Burke!

This is the real deal- really, but really good coffee and super generous sandwiches with the most lovely people serving... I'm a local who works internationally and Lotti is my fix of authentic realness- it's ACTUALLY COZY!!! Where in the awful global world of blank corporatized gastronomy can you find this anymore. This is a local gem...

Espresso was excellent. Menu wasn't the most clear, ordered the mountain biker (two meats, two eggs) and didn't say anything about it being a sandwich. Had the choice of waiting for one to be made or one sitting in the warming box.

I get it, it's probably a local made bagel, and local farm eggs, and local meats but wasn't really worth the $11 imo. Bagel was dry and tough (likely because it had been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile, meats were good, egg was overcooked and dried out, but it screamed "hey tourists, come pay $11 for a mediocre sandwich". It wasn't a sandwich that you get and say "wow" but instead of "meh".

My girlfriend got a ham and egg. The egg was the same and over cooked, bagel was nicer than mine (made to order), the ham was great.

If you get breakfast sandwich, get it made to order unless you want to take a chance on it being tough and a let down.

I'd absolutely come back for the coffee though. Excellent espresso and cold brew. but I wouldn't waste my money on the food personally. There are far better value/food in the area.

I liked. It took a long time with the food and they brought it out in batches so the first one started eating at 9 and the last one at 10...terrible. But the place is very nice and the people are very friendly.

One of my favorite places on earth! Down to earth folk, delicious breakfast and lunch, and the best lattes in the NEK! Make this place your next stop when visiting East Burke!

Quite simply, the best coffee shop in Burke. I’m pretty sure it’s also the only one… but i wouldn’t know because I’ve never looked and doubt it will.
