My spouse and I order meals from Belleville Bakery at least twice a month. Shelley’s meals, including sandwiches, are unique and delicious, full of flavor. Her pastries and baked goods are exceptional. Sooooooo yummy! A few months ago, Shelley started offering Saturday brunch at the bakery: “bring friends and meet new people.” I’ve been curious about the brunch since its inception, so when Shelley announced a brunch in late September, I decided I’d celebrate my 76th birthday at Belleville. I was lucky enough to snag all ten reservations. I, my spouse, and eight of my very good friends enjoyed a glorious brunch at Belleville Bakery. We loved every bite of every dish on the brunch menu—not one flaw. Shelley is a superb chef and baker. She’s gracious and welcoming. We felt comfortable and at home. Thank you, Shelley, for one of the best birthday celebrations EVER! My birthday cake was beautiful. We had a wonderful morning. Thanks so much, Shelley and staff, for a memorable meal and morning. You’re the BEST!

I was a little surprised by previous negative reviews about service. I've been here twice: once about a year ago, and again today. Both times I had a similar positive experience.
The first time I got a few pastries, and the person helping me offered to add a bit of frosting on top of one of them just because she thought it was a good idea in the moment (and it was). Today I had something like a lemon poppyseed cake with what looked like a runny egg (?) on top, and both presentation and taste were outstanding. The person helping me asked if I wanted one with a little extra icing (which was again a good idea). I wish that I had taken a picture.
I love that the menu was completely different between my visits (though I'll be sad if I return and don't find that lemon cake!).

Stopped by a few minutes ago to grab some goodies before we head back to Ohio. In less than an hour we have devoured almost everything we bought and every bite was super tasty. Shelley is so friendly and you can smell all the delicious things baking and feel the warmth as soon as you enter. Can’t wait to come back next time we are in Burlington.

Looked very appealing from the outside but the moment you step in, the atmosphere is frosty and quiet. You’ll get unhelpful curt comments from the staff (owner?) when asking questions and generally feel unwelcome. Would rather just go to city market and support the hardworking local bakeries sourced there than this store that’s somehow still in business when they’re only open 22 hours a week 😂

This is an authentic, charming bakery with the best almond croissant I have ever had. Crispy, buttery perfection on the outside and delicate, flakey deliciousness on the inside with the perfect amount of almond paste. We regularly “escape” to Burlington for a long weekend and Shelley’s pastries at Belleville Bakery are now a “must have” when we visit. Treat yourself!!

I go to Belleville regularly to meet a friend for coffee and one of the variety of pastries they offer including the best croissants in town. It has a pleasant atmosphere for conversation and the service it excellent.

Came to Belleville Bakery for morning birthday treats with my husband. Had been following them on social media for a long time and finally got to go there. Well, it did not disappoint. We had the cheddar bacon quiche, strawberry and cream brioche, their delicious homemade iced tea. We went to check out and Shelly, the owner and baker extraordinaire, said that croissants would be out in 30 min so if we had another tea and coffee we would get the firsts ones. Well…. Was that worth the wait. So buttery and flaky!! We will be back for sure.

Belleville is hands down my favorite bakery in Burlington! Their croissants are truly the best I’ve ever had flaky, buttery, and simply perfect. The shop itself is beautiful and cozy, and the service is just as sweet. The lady who runs it is incredibly kind and lovely. I find myself wanting to come back every chance I get. A true gem in the city!

In the area for work and dropped in to grab a few items to satisfy my sweet tooth. The peanut butter cookies had just come out of the oven and I indulged when I got back to the hotel. The first bite ended with a happy dance! So good! I hope work sends me to Burlington again as this will be a spot I plan to revisit. Thank you!!
