This deserves to be a destination restaurant. Everything we had, from the calamari to the etouffe was nonthing short of spectacular. Come and enjoy truly wonderful food.
They were closed, although their website and signage on door said they were open. What is it about the Cajun restaurants in this town??
Nicest owner ever!! Super quick and wonderfully flavored. Would recommend to anyone who comes to visit Burlington :)
Every time we try to dine in or call in an order, they're either not taking phone orders or they're seating only by reservation. I've yet to be able to try their food! Will gladly change my review if I'm ever able to place an order successfully. It's just annoying paying for parking to have to turn around and get right back in your car.
Phenomenal, authentic, perfectly crafted but unpretentious food. The grilled oysters and seafood jambalaya were stellar. Wonderful service in a unique space. BYOB is a bonus. This will be my new BTV go-to. Highly recommend.
Cute resturant with absolutely astounding Cajun food run by a single man. My friend had been hyping it up for weeks and I admit I was beginning to think he was blowing smoke. But then we ate there and I knew he was spot on.
Amazing place! Highly recommend. (Also highly recommend reservations!)
Everything was amazing. No notes. I hope to return to try more of the menu.
Spectacular food and great atmosphere! Had the mussel, Jambalaya and Catfish. You can't go wrong with any of these!

Visited for the first time with my wife, enjoyed the crab cakes, etouffee and jambalaya - all amazing! The owner runs the entire place himself, and you can really tell he takes pride in the food and wants his customers to appreciate good Cajun/creole cuisine. It’s a small dining area so may want reservations on busier days, but we had no problem getting a table as we were on the early side.
Had the chance to talk with the owner as it was a slower night, and really enjoyed his company. Definitely consider visiting if you haven’t tried this restaurant yet!

We had a wonderful time at Bourbon Street LLC. The restaurant is charming, with cute decor and lovely music. Richard is a fantastic host. He is courteous and quick, and the portions are very generous. The food was absolutely delicious; the frog legs were tender, our gumbo was rich and flavorful, and our jambalaya and duck ragoût were perfect comfort foods. We finished off with a slice of Kentucky bourbon pecan pie, and it was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Visit Richard's place for an excellent experience. We will be back soon!

The atmosphere is amazing, I loved it! I didn't feel like I was in Vermont but old New Orleans. The server was also the owner, very friendly. All the dishes are traditional. The issue I had was that the rice and beans were too spicy for me:( but he graciously offered to give me plain rice and coleslaw instead. Also, the pork was dry. The bluegrass Chicken was great though! We don't have any pictures because our phones died lol

Everything was excellent! We split the frog leg and cracklings (so , so good). Entrees we ordered were the flank steak sandwich, Boudin, and crawfish pies. The sides of red beans and rice and collards were well balanced and delicious. Everything was spot on. We were the only ones there so it felt like having a private chef.

My wife and I ate here for our 5th anniversary. It was the first time I've ever had an experience like this. It's a very small room with about half a dozen tables. The Chef runs the WHOLE show. We were the last reservation for the night, so after about 30 minutes we were the only ones left in the restaurant. The food was fantastic, I wish there was a better word for it. The food was so good I'm now interested in visiting New Orleans, where I had no interest in going before. My Jambalya had chicken and sausage and shrimp in it, and the flavors all stayed separate while working together. It was honestly the best Cajun food I've ever had. If I could give 25 stars instead of just 5 they would all be well earned.
