It's nice and open in the evening

Great place to get some food and watch a UVM game on TV.

The food is decent, but the cross-contamination is out control. (E.g. veggie hash stuck all over an order of pancakes; chocolate chip found in an order of eggs)

Gluten free options! Great for college kids. Later hours than dining hall and lots of places to sit..... Breakfast foods all day! Can use points which is convenient.

This place isn't bad, it's not spectacular. Trivia is fun, and the free popcorn is nice. Reason for one star review is they've served wine for years but this year apparently the new management decided not to serve wine, only beer as a person who dislikes beer, it's disappointing that I have to go far off campus to find booze before my last class of the day lol. Bring back the wine!

I found the counter staff to be very friendly and helpful in getting me oriented to the place as a first time visitor. The quinoa burger was very good - sriracha aoli, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles. Coffee is good, too. Coffee was good, too. Location can't be beat, although it is a somewhat dim basement experience. GIven that it's a student hangout, there was a fair amount of detritus left around on some of the tables (bus those trays, kids!), otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.

This is probably the worst place to spend your limited points at UVM. My friend, being a vegan, already has a difficult time finding a food she likes on the menu, and she gets the quinoa burger. She was disappointed with her quinoa burger not once but TWO times we came. The first, she's got cheese on her burger and the second, after receiving her food when the rest of us finished ours, came with some sort of red barbecue sauce on it. i mean COME ON. The buns were also too small to hold all of the toppings on the burger. My poor friend had faith in the place but can't anymore after so many being let down so many times. We will not be returning.... maybe. but if we do return, with it will be in bad spirits. please do yourself a favor, and eat somewhere else! not only is the service at brennan's not as timely as it could be for all the busy students the establishment has to serve, but the prices are outrageous for the quality of food. ambiance is fine if you like tripping over chairs to find your table and like spelling bees or trivia. too bad they only play the office sometimes

Great food, but the honey mustard dispenser is always broken. Also bring back the catamount quesadilla

Hands down the best place to eat from the UVM maple syrup on blueberry pancakes down to the Vermont cheeseburger or maybe the Vermonter wrap and don't forget the fresh cut peaslee farm French fries!! I can't get enough!!!

Honestly not great. Burger was overcooked, bun was not fresh, did not get all toppings asked for. Definitely not bad food, definitely not worth $9. Especially in Burlington, with church street so close, there is no reason to eat here.

I haven't been here in years but I ate here last Friday. I found the service to be rather slow but I just assumed that this meant everything was being made from scratch. Which I had no problem with. I ordered the "Gutt" which is hands down the ultimate hangover meal. It had all the essentials; the grease, the sugar, and of course the home-fries. I wasn't hungover at the time, but let me tell you, if I was, this would be my go to breakfast item.

Nice job. I got 2 of their tacos. Both were generously filled and well balanced. I think next time I'll stick to the pork. The tofu was a good change of pace, though. Joe thoroughly enjoyed his burger (it looked tasty). We both enjoyed his expertly-fried sweet-potato fries. Expertly--how do I know? Because they were still delicious even after they had cooled down to room temp. They couldn't find the key to unlock the wine 'cellar,' suggesting that they must not sell a lot of their house red. It was amusing, not annoying. Super friendly staff. We went before seeing a play (UVM's very moving "Our Town") and glad it's there for a nice night out. A few details: if you're not a UVMer, you won't get WiFi. The students seemed nonplussed by our presence. Didn't feel like we were, you know, obvious. Self-bussing, so as a result, may want to check and make sure your chosen table's basically clean. And they do have metal flatware for on-site use.
