Favorite place to eat in Burlington! The vegetarian hot pot is so good, and they have good gluten free vegetarian dim sum choices earlier in the day, and in the summer when it's too hot for hot pot. The owners are very friendly, and it's always packed!

We came here for Dim Sum, but they only do hot pot in the evening. We didn't really mind and decided to stay. The whole team was very friendly. I'm really glad the waitress told us how much to order. We ordered 2 entrees, 2 apps, 1 extra noodle, and 1 extra broth for 3 adult men. We did not finish everything. Without her, I think we would have ordered twice as much food. All of the food was fantastic. Definite a restaurant we want to come back to.

I’m a BHS student, and a Chinese, and this is week 5 of my 🍴Student Eateries Series🍴
Today, I’m craving some Chinese food. So, I came here for dinner today.

The atmosphere was pretty nice, two bathrooms near by, different types of seatings, and the music was chill.

I ordered Dan Dan Noodles and some Black Pepper Steak for dinner today. I also ordered a sprite for the drink. The servers were quite friendly, but the waiting time was a little bit long for food, around 20-30 minutes. Also, the portion sizes were quite small for an expensive price, so I had to order Wonton Soup at the end to fill up my stomach. However, the taste and smell made it up for the portion sizes and prices. The black pepper steak was very flavorful, although a little tough to chew. The Dan Dan noodles and Wonton Soup both had incredible flavors.

Overall, this is a more pricey restaurant, but the flavor and smell makes it up. This is also the only good Chinese restaurant, so, I recommend you go here if you crave some tasty Chinese food.

Is it authentic? It’s definitely not as authentic as real Chinese dim sum, which has huge portion sizes. However, the dumplings here are very tasty, and could be compared to the flavor of a real dumpling back in China.

LOVE this place, Sam and his team are incredibly welcoming and the food is always exceptional and far above the standard dim sum I’ve had most other places. Sam is also particularly great with allergy information and there’s enough gluten free options to make a good meal. Price is also reasonable.

I adore this place. Some of the best food in town, and easy to take guests to if you're unsure what they like to eat, since they can pick and choose whatever they want! You'll want no more than 3 plates a person; any more than that, while tempting, will leave you stuffed, ha ha

I enjoyed the shrimp & chive dumplings. And I liked the scallion pancakes. Disappointed with the shrimp& pork shu mai, steamed roast pork rice roll, char siu steamed bun.

Food is excellent and fresh, service impeccable, and the owner, Sam, makes you feel like an old friend. Everything my brother and I ordered was delicious and hot, we kept going back during his visit. Really appreciate Cafe Dim Sum as a Vermont transplant!

The spare ribs, shrimp dumpling and steamed rice roll with pork were okay. Bok choy was mid but other dishes I ordered were either bland or too salty. Shrimp chive was too salty to my taste. You’ll prolly get bloated due to all the sodium they put in. Also don’t order the sesame noodle, very bland and not authentic.

Asian female server or manager, Not sure if she had a bad day or what but she had some attitude. At least have some respect to your customer instead of eye rolling when asked for receipt. Other servers were super nice and attentive. I hope the 22% tip I gave would fix your attitude.

I enjoyed my experience at Cafe Dim sum very much. The food is freshly made and delicious. It is actually better than many Dim Sum places in Chinatown New York!

We got wonton noodle soup, mapo tofu, pork shumai and chicken feet. Being from the tri state area, this place was very solid and tasty. The noodles were just like Hong Kong!

This was a very unexpected surprise. The food was outstanding. You could tell a lot of time, heart and soul went into the food preparation.
