We ate there today for the first time and the food was amazing!! The staff was very attentive. The vibe was so good. If we could change anything it would be the size of the plates for how expensive it was. My son got the DC tacos and they were soooo fresh and tasty. But for $20, seemed a bit stiff for 2 small tacos.
The appetizer loaded spuds were amazing, so tasty!
The juice was so fresh and hot the spot!

So many good things!

Deep City in Burlington, Vermont, is a standout brunch destination that effortlessly combines thoughtful cooking with an exceptional setting. Located right along the waterfront, the restaurant offers scenic lake views that create a calm, inviting backdrop for a leisurely meal. The space itself is bright and welcoming, filled with natural light and an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and friendly.

The menu presents an impressive range of food and beverage options. I began with a cup of hot chocolate—rich, comforting, and well balanced—before moving on to the chicken legs plate. Visually striking, the dish features vibrant colors and a compelling variety of textures and flavors. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the carefully chosen garnishes complemented the main protein with clarity and intention.

With its beautiful location, confident cooking, and warm ambiance, Deep City delivers a consistently excellent dining experience and is well worth a visit when in Burlington.

Very nice little spot for brunch/lunch that we discovered randomly while next door to foam brewery. The service was excellent, and really enjoyed their decor.
They had a terrasse outside that was also nice but was packed on the beautiful day we went, so we ate inside.
Food wasn’t too bad, but definitely missing flavor and love for my liking.
The only thing I thought was super delicious was the banana bread and that really delicious homemade butter or cream cheese. Miammm 🤤

Hmm.. this is a restaurant that tries to be something ... not sure what. The service was mediocre at best. I chose something with gravy which was mostly flour and whatever. That's just poor cooking skills. And check out the beer menu. This is a BEER menu! Really?! This is a bad diner quality restaurant in a nice location that wishes it was something more. It isn't!

Really yummy brunch and great service. The pancake was super yummy so were their bowls. Everything seemed fresh and healthy. Really enjoyed the fruit cup as well.

Great experience for the whole family! There was a wait, so we enjoyed a walk on the lake before being seated. Food was delicious and service fast and helpful.

Eating here was such an pleasant experience - food, staff people and setting were all just great. We are vegan and the hostess was very knowledgeable (we didn’t have to explain!), pointing out to us in detail the several vegan options on the menu. We had an absolutely delicious vegan lunch. The wait people were so friendly; we felt like valued guests. And the setting is casual and comfortable. This is just such a nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

Incredible food. Good portion size. Friendly staff. Good prices. I had the taco salad with grilled tofu. My friend had the special which was a spinach and cheese pie.

My second time coming here and I can safely say this is the best brunch spot in the state of Vermont, hands down. The menu is unique but also has a number of classic brunch-style dishes. We were told it would be an hour wait during peak brunch time but we got seated in less than an hour (and it’s worth the wait so we didn’t mind and came prepared). I would come here every week if I could. My only tiny bit of feedback is that I think the cocktails could be a little more elevated for the price they’re charging, but it’s still a 5* experience all around.

Wow. So good. Too much to talk about….the menu is just so interesting, creative and tempting. Everything I’ve had is A+ with good service to match.

This place totally rocks! Excellent atmosphere, very clean, lots of light, lovely decor. Our waiter Nathaniel was outstanding, he was chill but attentive, very authentic, and attentive to details that are important to us such as lemons 🍋 for water, coffee refills without having to ask, and food brought to us hot without delay. Also, being very busy, we did not feel rushed at all by our waiter. We always tip well when not rushed. Food was incredible! We highly recommend this place!!!!! Thank You! 🙏🏼 🎉😎
