Went in to pick up some loose leaf tea and oh brother what a trip. The lady behind the counter couldn’t have been worse. She was basically repelling us and other customers. After 20 mins of discovering they didn’t have half of the menu, and that she didn’t want to make any effort to sell anything, we went to city market across the street for more local loose leaf tea options and at a better price.

I went here for the first time with some friends. We stayed for hours talking over our tea. There is an extensive list of teas of different varieties...
Black, white, oolong, chais, herbals, etc. I had one of their spiced chais and was not disappointed. They also have some great treats, both sweet and savory. A lovely little gem of a tea house.

They took 20% tip from my card without my permission.

Stopped in for a masala hot chai. Price was too high in my opinion. Was charged $9.34 just for that one small beverage. A tip was added to my card that I did not authorize as well.
Chai wasn’t even very good, though that could be a personal taste issue. Not very spicy or sweet. Lacking flavor.

I love the atmosphere and floor seating. The tea and desserts is a bit pricey but the desserts are pretty good and there is a wide range of tea. There is no service so you cannot work here because it’s a tech free zone.

The owner (or worker) was off from the moment we walked in. When we ordered she was out of two of our things and one of our items was still being made despite them being open for over an hour already. When I asked for recommendations she seemed a little annoyed and pointed back to the menu for me to read the teas. Our tea and food was good as well as the ambiance but the worker was just really uptight and almost pretentious like we were too dumb to be there. We thought it was just us but she was odd to other guests too. I also think she added a tip herself since there was no option for us to tip and our bill was a little extra!

Food and tea was good, the person running the front was a bit off putting, hopefully they were just having a bad day.

My wife and I stopped by Dobra Tea for some tea, and it turned out to be a truly warm and inviting experience. The ambiance of the tea house is serene, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease. The soft lighting, eclectic seating, and calming music create a perfect environment for slowing down and enjoying your cup of tea.

We had the opportunity to speak with the owner during our visit, which added a personal touch to our experience. She was incredibly friendly and transparent, letting us know that she was currently out of a few of our favorite teas. She explained that she had already ordered them and was waiting for her next shipment to arrive. We appreciated her honesty and the passion she clearly has for her craft.

While we couldn’t get a few of the teas we initially came for, we did purchase some turmeric, which was beautifully aromatic and of excellent quality. The service throughout our visit was attentive but never rushed, allowing us to really savor the moment.

Overall, Dobra Tea is a gem, whether you’re a tea enthusiast or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind, it’s well worth a visit. We look forward to returning soon, hopefully when our favorite teas are back in stock!

I have been here before and the service was amazing, the tea was fantastic and the owner is very knowledgeable about various kinds of tea, and I’ve been wanting to come here again. My friend and I both really enjoy tea and she hasn’t been here before so, she drove 3 hours to see me and then we drove together for another 3 hours to be here, and we’ve been talking about going on a day trip together because we both have busy schedules and today was the day we planned to go here to have some nice tea. We would not have traveled here had we known that the owner just decides to close whenever they want to (according to someone who frequents the place often) which is fine, everyone needs a break, just give some kind of notice online that that is what’s going to happen, you need to develop some basic communication skills please and thank you.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and I'm always surprised on how wonderful the atmosphere is. I come to enjoy a simple solo cup of tea, meet up with friends to play board games, first-time meet ups, quiet weekend date, etc. It's also a fantastic place to learn and experience new herbal concoctions and enhance my well-being in community. A Burlington classic 🍵 ❤️ 🌿 .

Great tea but workers were rude

owner was a tad rude but the tea was good, expensive. God forbid you ask a beginner question about tea. Expected like I had to have great knowledge of tea

We stopped by Dobra tea to try out their unique collection of teas. The store was serving limited type of tea, nonfood, since it was Monday noon. The tea store is huge, lots of tables to sit. Alongside tea, they have menu for some bites, dumplings and rice bowls as well. At the far end of the store, they have the sitting pavilions. Guests can take off their shoes and hang out in groups to enjoy tea and food. We found the price of tea and food reasonable.

The person working at that time was very friendly. She explained all the tea leaves and their origin. She made our tea within few minutes. We were in rush, so we the drink to go. The tea had excellent flavor, we liked it a lot.
