Duino Duende was recommended to me by a local friend for brunch and I am so happy I came here! The food was delicious as were the brunch cocktails we had. They were very accommodating to our group and we had no wait for a table. The atmosphere is wonderful and we had a great waitress. This is a must go to for brunch if in the Burlington area!

Lovely spot - great atmosphere, EXCELLENT customer service (thanks Sabrina!), fantastic food, and delicious drinks. Lots of vegan and veg options. I'd recommend the Hot Nikki, Cubano, and definitely don't leave without trying the Buffalo Cauliflower.

Hip vibe, cool space, and tasty food. Went for brunch and had the "sweet loader" which was fantastic. Gf said the blt was great, and the hot Chai was tasty. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town.

They set up an incredible vibe inside with very carefully chosen aesthetics, not to mention the live music. It is really interesting and a neat place to eat. The food was fantastic and they have SO MANY vegan options. The buffalo cauliflower bites were the best I have ever had and also came with vegan ranch which was delicious. They also had a vegan cuban sandwich which was the first of its kind I had seen and it was insanely good. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back for more.

So, my gf and I are here visiting VT for a few days and decided to try this place out since she eats vegetarian/vegan most of the time. Anyway, first thing we noticed was that there is no AC. So if you're the type that likes to be cool when you eat, this isn't the place for you. It's hot. There are fans but they don't do much. At first the heat was bearable but the longer we were there the worse it felt. We couldn't wait to get outside at the end of the meal. It was cooler out there and it was 80+ degrees today. Another thing we noticed was that the decor has a very interesting vibe too it. Almost a NOLA vibe but not as exciting really. That's not really a big deal. It just didn't have as much of a comfy vibe that we like. And the staff was nice but...interesting as well. The last but possibly worst thing was that we were sat in the back near the bathrooms which would be fine except there was a light smell of urine which was nauseating. Thankfully it just came in waves so it wasnt strong during the entire meal but it's definitely enough off-putting to make some people just get up and leave. Interestingly enough, my gf used the restroom and said the bathroom didn't smell so where the urine smell came from is beyond me. Just one quick other thing to keep in mind is that the prices were a bit high, IMO. Aside from those three things the food itself was just ok. A little bit better than mediocre but not nearly good enough for the prices, the heat, and the smell. The vibe...although not a reason we wouldn't go back but added to all the others makes it an undesirable place for us to go back to and we probably wouldn't recommend it to others.
