Female bartender was extremely rude! $13 for a shot of Hennessy, what is told after ordering they only accept cash. Unfortunately only had $12 on me. She denied my money and got upset and dumped the drink, wasting it rather than getting 99% of value. So I decided to leave and never come back! Bartender messed what is rude instead of, creating a happy first time customer with repeat business.

Had to stop in with the group as they were a Yankees bar. For sure a local bar, but the bartender at the time was friendly to us visiting. Even the regulars that were there were great. Would recommend stopping by here for a good time.

This place is great to catch a game, have some drinks with friends and get in a free game of pool. I thought I would throw barkeep Lurch off his game with q Maghariti order and he knocked it out of the park. Way to go Lurch!!!

A great bar to stumble on into. The bar tender on duty was awesome. He had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. If you are in the area and looking for a beer this is the place to be.

Wanted a dark bar to sit late night and drink some dark liquor. Esox checked all those boxes and it didn't hurt that the bartender had a heavy hand. It's a dive bar so go in expecting that and you won't be disappointed. It was refreshing to get away from the flock of Chads that had taken over most of church street and relax with some fellow weirdos.

ESOX is the best bar in Burlington solely based on the people that work there and the regular patrons that frequent. It’s tight like a family but welcoming enough to adopt a strange new weirdo if you act right. I left my server book there with three hundred dollars in it a week ago and one of the beautiful staff members set it aside for me with a note. Good people, strong drinks, and an overwhelming sense of community. Will go to this bar until I die.

ESOX is the beautiful epitome of the term dive-bar. It's a smaller spot that offers a jukebox, free pool, and an laid back atmosphere. Drinks are very reasonably priced (and typically well made) plus, they offer specials and deals on pitchers. Even the staff here are great. All in all, definitely a personal favorite bar in town and one I would recommend to most!

It's a dive bar yall. Cash only. Decent heavy pours on mix drinks. Tenders are all tight and decent, respect them and they will you. Don't ask for doubles you won't need it. Free pool in the back (new table). AMI Jukebox on deck. Chess upon request. Decent foot long hot dogs upon request as well for 2 bucks including sauces and condiments (until supplies run out). Various chips/snacks. Holidays and sporting events they'll have loads of food for the masses. Open till 2 bring your ID and proof of vacc.
