It’s hurts me to say but this place is extremely disappointing. Very expensive. Small portions. Very oily . Mostly raw vegetables. Not good flavor….

Was so excited when I heard Fancy’s was getting a restaurant space and it goes above and beyond with vegan food. Each dish was so unique and perfectly flavored and cooked, wonderfully fresh flavors and local produce!

This is one of those kinds of restaurants that makes you not want to leave when you’re in from out of town! A local recommended it and I’m SO glad I came. There was already a bit of a line at the door when I got there a few minutes before open. Inside the restaurant is adorable. The white bean dip with focaccia was to die for!! The burrata was a bit smaller than expected for the price but was also fabulous. Fancy’s is the new kid on the block and I fully expect to wait in an even longer line when I’m back in town next.

We tried 6 different items and shared, family style. They were they were all phenomenal!! The smorgasbord of vegan & gluten free items were amazing! With many food sensitivities & allergies, I cannot often enjoy unique cuisine like a real “foodie” & we were all wowed by the creativity & ingenuity of Chef Paul. It was super busy, so Paul pulled up tables & made more space. We sat in the window & It was like being transported to Parkslope, Brooklyn in Burlington’s Old North End. Ending the night with a blueberry vegan creemee was the most delicious surprise!

Usually I don’t write reviews but I had such an amazing experience here I feel compelled to do so. Service here was thoughtful and attentive. The plates were all so well balanced and the timing between appetizers, mains, and dessert was perfect. You can tell when a restaurant really cares about your experience overall and here that was felt. Couldn’t be happier with every aspect of this place, will absolutely be returning to try more of the ever rotating menu!

Spectacular first visit to Fancy’s. Lovely neighborhood dining atmosphere. Shared plates with four friends and were blown away by the variety of options on well-crafted menu. Perfect menu for communal dining experience. Do not miss out on the basil creamee to end the meal!

This spot is incredible. The flavors were so fresh and well balanced. Wonderfully inventive dishes. So fresh. Delightfully prepared veg. So accommodating to dietary preferences (vegan, non alcoholic options). Plus a lovely patio. What a gem. Don’t skip the cucumber salad or crispy rice cakes!!!

Ordered every vegan thing on the menu (which was all but 2 items) and it was all so so good. Such wonderful flavour combinations, textures, and use of local ingredients. All felt very intentional and thoughtful and the results were delicious. As we sat there a line started forming so I’d suggest going early and packing your extra stomach!
