We were the 1st couple to arrive last night with no reservations and were quickly seated. Both my husband and my dinners were excellent. I ordered the pork ribs and clams and my husband had the pork schnitzel. We really enjoyed it all as well as our cocktails. It was too dark in there for me, but I got through it!

I wish we hadn’t waited so long to get dinner at Frankie’s! The food, service and ambiance were amazing! We ate at the bar, and our bartender (Woody) made delicious cocktails for us and was very professional. The fried oysters, schnitzel and swordfish dishes could not have been better! We will be back very soon!

From the moment you are warmly welcomed throughout the entire dining experience, it was truly flawless. The food and staff equally excelled. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Our party of four opted to order about 90% of the menu to share - EVERYTHING was outstanding. If you want a special experience, this is not to be missed!!

Burlington seems to have quite a few pretty good restaurants. Frankie's is excellent.

BEST RESTAURANT IN VEMONT. I use to think Hen of The Wood was the best, but now this is #1. Service was impeccable, insightful and intuitive. The drinks were creative and nuanced. The food was fresh and flavorful. Set in an iconic burlington location, with a stunning new renovation. Why are you still reading this? I hope you can get I reservation call them now....

Delightfully open and comfortable space enhanced by an attentive and friendly, professional staff. The oyster app was exciting and clever. The schnitzel was plain, with radicchio that was also plain and unwieldy, but hidden underneath was a flavorful kraut sauce that became the star of the dish. The swordfish was succulent and wonderfully seasoned in a tomato broth. Sides of potatoes with leeks and crabapple puree with beets were solid accompaniments. The peach creamee was inspired, but what was billed as a peach clafoutis was not, and the only major misstep. Definitely worth a second visit.

Amazing meal. Amazing service. From Johnny the sous chef to our server Chris everything was a delight.
Nice wine selection, menu was filled with fresh choices. Gorgeous interior. Highly recommend. Did we over indulge? Probably.

Excellent food and service! Creative dishes that nail it on taste and that surprise element. The space is really nice, they highly elevated the old Penny Cluse space. The only downfall is sound - it’s so loud that we couldn’t hear each other.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian and NA and we all had delicious meals.

Frankie’s is a great place for dining during the early to late evening. Love that they are open late and offer great seasonal farm to table food. Chef Jordan is extremely personable and truly cares about your food and dining experience. We had some great little neck clams and schnitzel. Kudos to keeping the old Penny Cluse spot alive and kicking! Will definitely be back again.

We sat at the bar. The 2 bartenders were perfect. I only had 1 soda and a appetizer. The appetizer I had wasn't great. The people eating there were weird and stared A LOT. Made the atmosphere horrible. The manger was extremely nice. Over all of you are and average person sit at the bar and enjoy the employees. I felt like I was talking to people I've know for years.

We were looking for a good restaurant in downtown Burlington and after a long ride we were very fortunate to find Frankies. The atmosphere was very contemporary with a bubbling of activity in the dining room. Our meals, Sword Fish and Papardelle with roasted peppers were very tasty. Our server, who happened to be one of the bartenders, we sat at the bar, provided excellent service. We even had the opportunity to meet one of the owners who took us thru the history of the restaurant, she was very cordial. Definitely have a meal here if you are looking for excellent food, in a chic environment. Great food for the value!

Incredible meal - great drinks, food and desserts (there is a designated pastry chef in house). We came from out of town and will certainly make the trip back! The menu changes every day - every week and we look forward to trying whatever creations are available next time. Their bread is to die for!
