I miss you guys so much please open back up soon. I can’t stand chow mein from any other place. ?

I called this restaurant to place a to-go order. When I asked if he had the items mentioned on the menu online, the guy on the phone was rude, and hung up on me saying they are busy right now. I was about to head to the restaurant but changed my mind instantly and went to a different Nepali restaurant.Glad that Burlington has ton of other Nepali restaurants to choose from, and don’t need to tolerate anybody’s arrogance and rude customer service.

This place was great, I went here with my cousins and the staff there was amazing they set up a pool table for us to play on while we waited for our food. The food here was amazing the fried momos were fresh and hot and still very crispy and came with a great spicy and tangy sauce.

Dal makhani is supposed to be a rich infusion of flavors, either yellow or reddish, and the spices and aromatics should all be part of the flavor. Their dal makhani is a sad concoction of ghee and cream, with trace amounts of tomatoes and a piece of clove. There are different variants of dal makhani, but this pale one should not be one of them.

Looking at their good food and menu, we visited this place for a dinner on Sunday evening around 7pm but to our disappointment they were closed. Google hours showed they are open and we took 30 minutes drive to only get disappointed. They must fix the timings on the google page.

Wonderful place to eat, or hang and play pool. Friendly employees and great service.

As others mention, this place is a bit rough around the edges. However, the food is very good and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back.***August 2022 update:I planned to meet a friend here recently and it never opened at 3pm. The place looked deserted and even dumpier than last visit. Rough around the edges is an understatement at this point.

This place is a local gem! We've gotten takeout here on countless occasions and we're always happy and stuffed, mostly because it's so tasty and we can't stop eating... We love spicy food and the jhol Momo's are AMAZING. So spicy and flavorful. We also recommend the chili Momo's, lamb vindaloo, goat curry, bhindi masala and saag paneer. The chicken Tikka and korma are on the sweeter side compared to how Indian restaurants make it but I'm guessing that's more the Nepalese style so keep that in mind.

Tried it twice just to be sure before I wrote this. Just a couple of heads up and some feedback:Momo were delicious, but the dipping sauce was almost inedibly spicy (I'm not huge on spice but I can tolerate and don't mind some heat, this was insane). The tikka masala was cloyingly sweet the second time I tried, but not so bad on the first run. The inconsistency was weird.Lastly, the veggie pakora were so overcooked (both times) that they were almost rock solid, completely inedible.Overall it seems hit or miss. I want it to be good, though. Maybe I'd try again someday.

Waste of a nice corner store, late promise in food, blindly accepts delivery orders without calculating cooking & prep time.Their hunger for money just translates to hungry patrons. Shame.

Gurung restaurant has been my go to place every time I visit Vermont. The food is delicious. Definitely try their lollipop chicken, momos, chowmein, sukuti. You won't go wrong ordering anything off of menu, honestly. Will visit many more times
