Have lived in Burlington for 7 mos now and our first time here was today! Absolutely loved the atmosphere - great jazz music playing, clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made killer drinks. All 3 drinks we got were amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try some new ones. They have little snack platters on their menu too! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Love this cocktail bar! Very fun that they are distillers and very knowledgeable about the ingredients. we got the "Soundtrack to Winter" whiskey drink which was fantastic as a non whiskey drinker. Very similar to pomegranate whiskey sour, and I loved it. Also got the "First tracks" which was refreshing and cucumber forward. Loved sitting at the bar

This is a fantastic cocktail bar with a fun vibe. I was thrilled with my drink recommendation from the bartender. He was able to answer questions about the different drinks and how their liquor works with the flavors.There is a section in the front to buy fun bar accessories. I would return and I highly recommend this spot!

Cool place to get some spirits in Burlington. It has bottles to go, or you can sit at the bar and drink cocktails. Mad River is one of a few distilleries in town. Have a few of their liquors in a flight. The cocktails are expertly crafted, so get some of those as well. A lot of liquors to choose from. It's about $12 to get a cocktail, or you can get a flight of a few liquors. The best of the cocktails was the Bittersweet & Sacred. Has a bitterness, but there's also a sweetness to it. This is the straight bourbon made with Bennett Exorcism Bitters, Campari, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup. For sure go here if wanting to get some locally made liquors. It doesn't have food usually, but sometimes there's cheeseboards and snacks. The flights are a good option if wanting to try a few things.

Nice distillery with bar service and retail area with a nice selection of drinkware, bitters, and other items to complement their rums and bourbon. The staff is super friendly and helpful with explaining their liquors and showcasing them in delicious unique drinks.

We visited the Mad River distillery on our recent trip. This place is a short walk from Lake Champlain's waterfront park. We wished to experience the $8 tastings that they offered. They offered a unique and wide range of selections from vanilla rum to corn whisky. All the drinks tasted great and were really strong. You can even share the 4 tasters amongst two or more of you if you wish. The person serving us was very knowledgeable and friendly! We also tried the cheese platter which was great.

Stopped in with my girlfriend on a Wednesday afternoon and the two gentlemen running the tasting room were fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, with both their spirits and other products made by local distillers. They even recommended places to eat in the area and all their recommendations were spot on.Their spirits, especially the rum, were excellent. And the specialty cocktails on the drink list were great. Best bitters selection in the state!
