Monarch and the Milkweed has both a wildly creative and innovative cocktail menu with seasonally inspired flavors, and an extensive wine and beer menu for a cocktail bar. Additionally, it is a much more laid back and upscale vibe than many of the college bars in town. Definitely a must go spot if you’re in Burlington! So glad i went.

Great cocktails and loved the margarita flatbread.

We skipped dessert at the restaurant around the corner and opted for a drink and one of their special desserts with CBD. Everything was excellent. They have a great menu for drinks and these special desserts.

Unaccommodating and overpriced. Wouldn't have minded the prices if they were more friendly and less exclusive/cold.

Great place to get a drink. The bartender was great. Wine selection was ok. It is a cool concept with the CBD.

Super cool cocktail and CBD treat menu. Got living the creamsicle which I didn't realize was such a labor intensive drink. Definitely worth the wait. So tasty.

The cocktails were mediocre and service was off. My husband ordered pisco sour and the bartender shook it and put it in a glass. Then she decided to pour it into another glass. The creaminess and foamy texture of the drink was gone. I ordered a paper plane and the drink came with a paper plane. It was supposed to be a bourbon and aperol drink. But, I didn't taste anything but aperol. There were two bartenders. It seemed like the gentleman was the owner. It didn't seem like they were really interested in customer satisfaction. We quickly finished our drinks and left. Nobody asked if we liked the drinks and enjoyed the experience.

Really great cocktails, but man does the owner BLAST the music. Your ears will be ringing after a few rounds in here!

We had a party of 10, taking up the whole bar. Joe was our bartender, and I will contend he is one of the top 5 in the state in terms of skill, energy and creativity. Really adventurous cocktail menu, lots of combinations of flavors, textures, preparation styles that were employed. When prompted, Joe was able to put together a couple of custom beverages based solely on his question of "what's your mood" or a couple of ingredient parameters. Quick, artful, exact, and with a generous host's energy, it was all a delightful experience with Joe as our tour guide. Thank you! Truly enjoyable and fun. Highly recommend.

We frequent VT to ski around once a year, and this year we stayed in Burlington. We were only in VT for the weekend but somehow managed to get to M&M twice - The drinks were just that outstanding!! You will also enjoyed their mini treats which contain CBD, buy a six pack to take home. You can also order pizzas from an adjacent restaurant. This is a great classy yet cozy spot and you will love exploring the cocktail menu. I highly recommend the Tonka and the Creamsicle; If you like a creamy light my frothy drink he will like those.
