A Hidden Gem That Truly Touched My Soul

Red Panda Restaurant in Burlington, Vermont is an absolute hidden gem that more people need to know about. The food quality is outstanding, and the service is genuinely warm and welcoming. This place beautifully brings together Chinese, Nepali, and Indian cuisine—and every bite feels made with love.

I actually drove all the way from Virginia to Burlington, and I can honestly say the food was worth every mile. The chicken and veg momos are incredible—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting. Their veg and chicken thukpa is a must-try—rich, soulful, and deeply satisfying. The veg roll was outstanding as well, packed with flavor and freshness.

And let me talk about the naan—oh my God! It was unbelievably soft. We even carried it out for the next day, and it was still absolutely soft and fresh, which says so much about the quality.

This restaurant didn’t just feed me—it truly touched my soul. An amazing experience from food to service. If you’re in or around Burlington, do yourself a favor and visit Red Panda Restaurant. You’ll leave happy, full, and already planning your next visit.

Highly, highly recommended! 🌟

This is a hidden gem in Burlington. From the outside you would not expect how nice and spacious it is on the inside.

The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive and the food is fantastic! Reminds me of the wonderful Indian restaurants I used to frequent in NYC.

Highly recommend the coconut chicken curry and tikka masala--with garlic naan and mango lassi's, of course ;) Veggie momos are also great. Honestly, I have yet to find something on the menu I did not like.

Five Stars!

These guys are genuinely the best. I’m home sick & ordered their coconut chicken curry for a warm meal to pick up, it was unreal.. rich, creamy, full of flavor and they even gave me an extra box of rice (icons). It said 21 minutes for pickup and they had it ready in 15!

Their mango lassi is also my personal favorite in Burlington. And the chicken tikka is always so tender and perfectly seasoned too… haven’t gone wrong yet with anything I’ve ordered :)

Also the staff are genuinely some of the friendliest and most attentive folks. I’m honestly so impressed with how consistently they’ve stayed open through all the construction chaos downtown. They just keep showing up with amazing food and great energy. So grateful they’re here!!

Highly recommend on all fronts.

I was visiting Burlington for the weekend and thankfully stopped by here to have lunch. The food was SO DELICIOUS. I cannot recommend the Momos ENOUGH. My brother and I have strong spice tolerances, and this food was made perfectly to our liking. The staff was very attentive and I liked the music. I can't wait to come back!

My wife and I were visiting family friends in Vermont and heard this place had great korma, so I decided to order online. My Pickup Order #2586-1 was confirmed with a ready time of 5:08 PM. When we arrived, however, the staff informed us they never received the order—even though my card was already charged and I had the receipt showing payment.

The lady at the counter was polite and even called the manager, but unfortunately, he was on the road and unable to resolve the issue. This was very disappointing, as we were left without the meal and had to drive home and find something else to eat.

I truly hope the manager reaches back out to void the charge and provide a refund. If not, I’ll have no choice but to dispute the transaction.

Stepping into the Red Panda was like being transported back to Nepal. The smell and ambiance was very nostalgic and the food was the most authentic! We tried a variety of dishes, including cauliflower 65, chili chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken momos, veggie chow-mein and butter nann. So much flavor and freshness in each plate, I wish we were able to try more. If you’re looking for great food in Burlington, the Red Panda is the spot!!

We were so excited to try Indian food for the first time because we heard raving reviews about red panda and all other places. But we were EXTREMELY disappointed in the food, the vegetable samosas were SO salty and chewy. The butter chicken had barely any chicken it was mostly onions. The only good thing that we would recommend the mango lassi out of everything
