Food wasn't seasoned and took forever to come out. We were the only people in the restaurant.

We had our first meal here as an engaged couple! Our server did a phenomenal job and made our special evening even more special with how kind she was. In fact everyone in the restaurant was so incredibly kind and helped us celebrate our engagement, which made the entire experience at Shanty on the Shore shine like the diamonds on my fiancée's ring. We had the lobster (lazy man style) with the mac and cheese, clam chowder, and Wild Maine and PEI oysters which were all amazing. The view of Lake Champlain was breathtaking, the food was spectacular, and being able to enjoy the whole experience with my fiancée made this the best experience ever. They also gave us a piece of the key lime pie on the house as a congratulations on our engagement. Honestly, if you are in Burlington and you don't have a meal here, you have done yourself a great disservice. This place is 10/10.

Nice views of the lake but the oysters and clams from the raw bar were not good.

Got whole belly clams for lunch and were outstanding . I have had clams all over Maine and Massachusetts and these held up to these other areas known for good clams. I am rather particular about clams and seafood. Bonus fries were good and cole slaw tooThe Shanty inside looks like a nice atmosphere after being renovated. It was previously rather dated inside. So I will be returning for inside dining soon!

The Maple Manhatten specials were divine. The lobster bisque in the bread bowl was excellent. The only thing missing were anchovies on the Cesaer salad (neglected to ask). Service was friendly and timely. A great respite after a tough day in court.

Lobster bisque is killer! As a local of Northshore MA, I know a good bisque and this one blows it out of the water. The service is fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and so sweet. Definitely check out this place on your Burlington trip!

They're buffalo shrimp was very good surprisingly, didn't think that that combination was a thing. And the maple salmon is amazing.
