You order at the bar, but the service is friendly and quick. They were playing my favorite music from the ‘90s. And the beer is great. I tried six in a flight. We got the jumbo pretzel with real cheese sauce and mustard. The merchandise looked really nice.

Stopped by for a quick bite and drink while in Burlington for the day. Food was good - typical brewery food offerings. Especially liked the fried zucchini! Beer was alright. I got the Leaf Peeper flight - was mostly fine but I think the sour ale in there was kind of weird after an IPA. Maybe I drank it in the wrong direction. The price was reasonable for the area and for what you get.
There was some confusion about where patrons could bring dogs and could not. Would suggest management maybe put up a sign just to clarify that dogs cannot go indoors bc of the full kitchen. I wasn’t the only one! There were four parties of people with dogs who said they came because they thought dogs were allowed inside and could not find any information otherwise. Outdoor area was fine, it was just raining and there wasn’t any shelter besides the sun umbrellas so we didn’t have much choice but to leave the dog in the car (we were traveling so could not leave pup at home!).

I did not eat anything so no rating for the food. The beer was good not great and the room was ok. Service was great. Wish I went here before going to Burlington Beer next door.

Great experience but at the time of this writing don’t be fooled by the pictures that show six dollar flight beer taste as it was $14… I came here on that basis to find out. It was actually a lot more…. Like I said from the beginning great experience it was good beers, but don’t come here. Expecting six bucks from the previous pictures.
We loved the new beer garden and restaurant. We had the quinoa & cauliflower burger, beer battered squash, and the haddock sandwich along with the summer ale flight. Everything was delicious !

It was so good we visited twice in one week on our trip. I’m a tried and true southerner and that was one damn fine BLT. Beer is on point. Solid IPAs and delicious smoked ales. The food was excellent. Muscles were amazing. Service was great just all around a must visit!

Food quality beyond my expectations. When in doubt, order the Smash Burger. The employees are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is family and pleasant, especially outside. A must if you are staying or passing through Burlington.

I love Switchback I have been drinking their beer before they were bottling it. I had such a poor experience there, but I have to be honest. The new set up is a mess. The self service is a whole new level. One regester to take everyone's order. All of the food is expensive. $18 usd for a small burger and fries. If everything is self service why do you have to tip? The company use to be employee owned and use to take pride serving the community their delicious beer. Now its just a tourist trap. Give me your money! Order yourself, seat yourself, clean up yourself but don't forget to tip!

Great new beer garden! Service is wonderful, staff are so friendly and helpful. Claire really helpful when we asked for help on what to order. Delicious burger, the mussels were to die for, and the cocktails are fun twists as they use their beer in them too! Hannah was helpful outside on the patio with ensuring we had what we needed and we had a great chat about the new beer garden!
Heads up, getting to parking is a little confusing. Turn right immediately after the train tracks.

New patio is great, much better atmosphere than before. I got the smash burger, it was great. Food seemed very similar to BBCO, I suspect same or similar kitchen?
