My husband and I ordered dinner from here and were very disappointed with our experience. The burgers and buns were soggy and had an odd taste, the fried pickles were extremely greasy and soggy, and the fries were also disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy or even finish the food because of its taste and condition.

I sent my partner to shopping bag for a half gallon of milk and they sold my partner chocolate milk that’s twos days pass the sell by date.. given the milk was still good to use but this is very unprofessional on there end for keeping it on the shelf’s I’m just glad itdidnt go bad before I drank it I’ve been going here for years and this has never happened to me but since their under new management it seems like there going down hill just remember to check dates from now on

It’s a convenience store, so don’t expect a sit-down style dining experience; but if you’re looking for an awesome no-frills all-American flat-top style burger, this is it! Great craving satisfier. A good value for a half-pound burger given today’s prices. The sizzle-master was a great guy to chat to and seemingly enjoys his craft, which is nice to see.
If you’re looking for the burger with the labor-intensive creative toppings and the crunchy outer char, with a specific inner temperature, this is not it. If you’re looking for the former, you’ll be immensely satisfied. If you’re looking for the latter, you’ll probably still enjoy it.

Well-crafted burger and fries! I’m visiting from Maryland and this place was highly recommended. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. Service was OK, but I think that’s culturally the norm in this area.

Best burger in VT? 100% maybe even top 3 in New England!
Everybody talks about the Sizzler, which is always a good choice, but give the El Diablo with added Jalapeño Bacon a try! Who doesn’t love Jalapeño Poppers on a burger.
They alsi make a solid hot dog and some tasty corn-dog bites.

This is definitely deserving of their review on the food network. Best burger I've had my whole life. Wow! I've been trying to get here since I heard about that Food Network thing, and wow, it was worth the wait. Wish the locals would respect the place more!
The Shopping Bag in Vermont is a must-visit! Home of the famous Sizzler—one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It’s packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and totally lives up to the hype. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and everything feels local and welcoming. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried the Sizzler yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Love the new vibe here! Great burgers, cold beer, tons of vape and tobacco options, and super friendly staff. New management really stepped things up—place is clean, fresh, and way better than before!

I’ve traveled extensively & tried burgers all over the US, so I was shocked to find such a delicious burger at a little hole wall convenience store in Vermont. The store doesn’t look like much from the outside but these burgers are legit ?
