Cozy and relaxed atmosphere!!! Highlighting local musicians and artists… as one of the singers mentioned, this place builds community. Simple snacks and excellent drinks make The Venetian Soda Lounge a MUST when in Burlington.

This place rules. My husband and I were on vacation and wanted to play trivia, so we stumbled on The Venetian Soda Lounge. We loved the atmosphere, the relaxed vibe of the place, and the awesome cocktail menu. I love seeing a place with a mocktail menu that shows just as much care and creativity as its alcoholic counterpart. Truly a gem! Don't miss out on this awesome place!

We went for LOTR trivia night and were incredibly disappointed. Ordered a drink and some corn dogs at the counter - they took my card for the tab and gave me a number. Over an hour later, our food hasn’t come, so I go to the counter and ask if it’ll be much longer. The staff said “oh we don’t have corndogs, they forgot to take it off the menu.” So you just didn’t say anything and left us waiting for food that was never coming? Meanwhile everyone who ordered after us got food, so they either threw out or purposely ignored our ticket. We then ordered hot dogs and tater tots instead, and when the staff eventually came to bring the tater tots, he threw it onto the table in front of me. They vaguely offered a discount for the trouble but didn’t end up applying it and charged me $50 for 1 drink and two hot dogs w tots.
On top of that, the trivia host made a point to say after every question that he didn’t watch or care about LOTR at all; the questions were sometimes flagrantly incorrect, and there were none of the “themed cocktails and cocktails” advertised for the event.
$50 for the most abysmal service and worst trivia I’ve ever encountered in Burlington.
Went for tiki night, it was a fun time. Very vibey, fun decor. The tiki cocktails were great, had the classics

Tickets said doors open @ 7:00 but the guy at the door said the time changed to 7:30 but he never apologized or even acknowledged the inconvenience of the time change. It seemed he couldn't care less about us having to wait in the hallway.

The cocktails and mocktails were delicious Ave the server was friendly and funny. We stumbled across their open mic night, and I was BLOWN AWAY by the talent and earnestness of the artists. One song legit made me cry (shout out to Karen McFeeters) but they were all so impressive. Highly recommend!

I had the Flamingo Blanco and Speakeasy Negroni. My wife had the soda flight. All were fantastic drinks!! I think my favorite of the night was the Speakeasy Negroni, I thinks it’s also the best in VT! We will definitely make trivia night a routine event!
Parking: Parking is a paved lot in front of the building.
Kid-friendliness: We were there on a trivia night and it was a welcoming family evening, there were some families had kids and everyone had a good time.

Laid back atmosphere. Comfy couches, Friendly staff. Love a hotdog and tater tots with a gingerale. Great local music....we like going early, listening to Lincoln on the piano and having a lite bite. I don't drink alcohol, but my roomie says the cocktails are wonderful!!!
