We arrive half an hour after opening on a Saturday night and the place was packed. You have to be patient for seats, but can enjoy a beverage from the bar which includes local beers, spirits, and sodas. Our family enjoyed the fries (spiced with a unique flavor) and garlic dipping sauce, mejadrah (Lebanese lentil pilaf) to start. For main course we had the chicken shawarma in a wrap, and beef kofta on top of fancy rice (chicken flavored rice). We closed out with the maple konafa; a single serving that could easily feed three. It was light with a slightly salty cheese covered with shredded buttery philo and maple drizzled.

Overall nice atmosphere, but be prepared for crowds and folks looking for seats at the bar, by the kitchen, windows, or picnic tables on the main floor. Staff was helpful and cooks did their best to get food out amid the crush of folks. Definitely will try ordering for pick up next time.

Like most restaurants, the room is full of hard surfaces and noisy.

WOW. The second you walk into the wise fool the atmosphere is welcoming, warm and smells absolutely divine. The wings and kapsalon with cheese were cooked perfectly and tased outstanding. Definitely get yourself an order of their garlic sauce.. it is unreal. I got the beef kofta wrapped in laffa and although it was amazing, the beef was truly the star of the show. PERFECTLY cooked. Their prices are also more than reasonable. We will be back! TWF gets a 1000/10 from me!

100/10 can’t recommend this place enough! Food is both delicious and affordable. The staff is welcoming and kind and the atmosphere is awesome. Everyone definitely needs to check this place out!

The food is fine but the value is horrible. $15 for a falafel wrap with no sides. $.75 for a tiny paper sauce cup. A falafel salad that looked like they forgot the salad part. I’m all for supporting a new local restaurant but I also don’t enjoy going out and feeling like I’m being taken advantage of. There is no way a falafel wrap with fries should cost $25. If the value was better, particularly for the vegetarian options, this place would be a decent late night option that isn’t pizza but I can’t stomach the feeling of being price gouged.

Loved it! We got the shared platter for 2 which is delivered on a huge baking tin. Enough food for 3, but we didn't leave a bite! Warm, inviting space, and friendly service at the bar from Josh. We'll be back!

I nice addition to the old north end but I don't particularly care for their shawarma that much.

I’ve been twice now and I’ve had mixed experiences. The first time I got the falafel. For the price, I was pretty surprised how tiny the serving was and it didn’t taste great. The next time I went, I got the chicken shawarma wrap. This was pretty good! Although, it’s $15 + tax and tip and doesn’t include any sides or drink.

I got the Shawarma chicken over “fancy rice” and a small hummus with a lafa and it was all right.
The chicken did not seem fresh (I showed up just after they opened and seeing how they’re closed on Tuesdays and I went there on a Wednesday. I don’t know how the chicken would be old) and was generally not super flavorful. Also, the serving size was all right, just don’t expect a ton of food tho.
The lafa was pretty soft and could definitely use more time on the grill and the hummus was fine but the olive oil to hummus ratio was a little crazy.
I got a side container of zhug and it was tasty

The part I liked the most was the bottle of ‘savouré’. I have never seen this product before but it was quite tasty. I got the cherry, fennel, apple flavor soda.

I don’t see myself going back, but maybe if you get some of the other options, you may have a better experience

I’m being picky but for a place that considers itself to be middle eastern I’m not sure where they get off
I would rate this place a three out of five stars, but I also don’t think I’ve had enough experience there to give it a fair rating. Also, the place is new and hopefully they will improve.
