Delicious sandwiches and extremely fresh! When I got there, egg salad was crossed off the board so I asked if they were out and the employee said “it’s not a problem” and promptly made a fresh batch just for my sandwhich. now that’s customer service!!!

I get the special here almost everyday it’s really tasty and good priced at only six dollars for a half sandwich. Try the meatloaf sandwich or the stuffing one for unique options.

Let’s start with the ordering system, which feels like it was designed out of stupidity. You wait, and wait, and then as someone takes your order, you’re immediately redirected five feet to the cash register like you’re on some bizarre sandwich obstacle course. Like ever heard of efficiency? No? Might be worth a Google.

Once you've paid your $14 ransom for a wrap and soda (yes, fourteen dollars), prepare yourself for another long intermission—this time while watching your food take an absurd 15 minutes to assemble. That’s right, two employees in full view, one other customer waiting, and still, the pace of a DMV line during a printer jam. You’d think they were curing prosciutto in the back.

Now let’s talk atmosphere, and I use that term loosely. Signs scream “No Restrooms” like a cruel joke in a food-serving establishment. Isn’t that a health code red flag? But then again, nothing says “Bon Appétit” like the charming sidewalk scene outside where Church Street has devolved into a public toilet and an open audition for Law & Order: Burlington Victims Unit. Try enjoying your limp wrap while watching someone drop a deuce ten feet away.

Top of the Block serves overpriced mediocrity in a dystopian street-side setting with the efficiency of a Soviet bread line. Save your money, your time, and possibly your dignity by going anywhere else.

First time yesterday. I was walking by with my Brady jersey on and a gentleman said something about Brady. If I wasn't wearing my jersey he may haven't said anything to me and I never would have stopped when he said something about a sandwich. This place has been here all these years and so have I and I've never been in. Thank you. I had a turkey club and it was delicious. If you need a good sandwich a delicious sandwich and amazing sub or a bowl of hot soup This place is for you.

If you are busy say so, Don't leave a customer on hold for over 15 minutes. You can't make money if you don't take orders.

What I ordered:
Tuna melt wrap with provolone, lettuce, and pickles
What I got: see photo. I got exactly what's on the menu with tomatoes and banana peppers that I did not order, despite my order being written in large letters in black marker by the order taker.
Staff was friendly, but inattentive when it came to making what I actually ordered and my meter was running and I took it to go, so I didn't know until I got into it in my car. The sandwich was good, but why take someone's order if you're going to ignore it?
