My recent visit to Trattoria Delia was an absolute delight, truly living up to its reputation as a consistently excellent Italian dining spot. From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy, rustic ambiance, with its charming Italian cave vibe, enveloped me, promising a wonderful evening. The noise level was perfectly quiet, allowing for easy conversation, which I always appreciate.
The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely top-notch. For starters, the antipasto was simply amazing, setting a high bar for the courses to come. For my main, I opted for the gnocchi entree, and it was a revelation – perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. My dining companion had the filet, which they declared one of the best they had ever tasted.
Of course, no Italian meal is complete without tiramisu, and Trattoria Delia’s did not disappoint. It was utterly excellent; so good, in fact, that I savored every bite and happily took the rest home to enjoy later. While parking can be a bit of a challenge, requiring reliance on meters or a nearby garage, it's a minor hurdle for such a memorable experience. This is definitely a superb choice for a special occasion, and I can’t wait to return.
Amazing food, and truly the kindest staff + servers!
Nan was our server and she was very attentive. My first visit for my boyfriend’s birthday and I was impressed. Food was amazing, the vibe is so cute and service was top notch
Absolutely don't miss this place! Confusing entry conceals a BEAUTIFUL intimate interior offering the BEST old-time crafted cocktails and OUTSTANDING food. A GEM, honestly! 😁
If you want to experience something truly special, you will eat here if I could leave 10 Stars I would. My wife and I had a great time ,will be back soon!
Very good experience however pricier then it should be.
We have been to this restaurant before and after quite a few years we returned what can you say the food was excellent but something happen with the service the waitress who took our order was very good the first course came out only to be told she was sent home because it was slow by our new waitress okay well the place got very busy and they could not keep up the crowd and then it happen we counted we got waited on by seven different waitress or waiters not good and one waiter had a pen behind his ear which now this is restaurant not a diner need to get rid of the pen but all in all still a five star restaurant.
Amazing restaurant. Showed up for reservation but made it for next night. Hostesses gave us option of table on time limit or bar. We choose the bar. Waiter was very attentive and accommodating as my wife is vegetarian, so provided several options for her not on menu. Cheese board was delicious with Vermont cheese, rissoto was great too. I had the shrimp pasta, very taste. And gelato and tiramisu topped off a great dinner. Highly recommend. Don’t be put off by entrance to restaurant.
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on menu. But kitchen very accommodating to make other dishes vegetarian too.

This may have been our 10th visit to Trattoria Delia over the past 20 years? I believe the owner/management has changed a couple of times? Even still after all these years, our dinner this evening was simply delightful.
Our server, Grace, could not have been more excellent. She took just the right amount of time to describe the specials perfectly and to help select the best glass of wine to pair with my dinner. She was warm, genuine, and attentive (without being bothersome).
The food was spectacular. The special appetizer was so good that we ordered a second round of it!. The regular menu continues to have long lasting favorites in addition to new and seasonal deliciousness every time.
And the wine and cocktail offerings are really, really good.
Never a disappointment. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

My husband and I are up here visiting from CT and wanted some high end Italian. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Their bourbon drink specialty was fantastic, followed by braised short rib...we couldn't have been happier. Absolutely recommend and we will be back.

My husband and I went yesterday to have dinner for a special occasion, I ordered the filetto al Barbera and it was so good, the beef sauce delicious. And for dessert we had tarta al limone.

Was really looking forward to dinner, but turned out to be very basic nothing that great.
Service was decent, but waited over an hour for the food after we ordered and waiter didn't really care.
Split two salads both were average. We then had halibut special anbd was overcooked and under seasoned. Wife had the carbonara and was very dry flavor was decent. Gnocchi was good as it was cooked perfect, but again to dry.
Having been to Italy numerous times snd to a lot of goid restaurants around Burlington we expected a lot better. To many other good restaurants to go here again

Disappointing! It's a beautiful space and nice atmosphere, but the food was just okay and the service was quite poor. There's definitely better options in Burlington for a nice dinner!
