The sandwiches are flavorful and constructed with healthy ingredients. There a variety of baked goods too. The pricing is reasonable and the service friendly. A good place for informal dining and a healthy sandwich and soup.

Nice ambianced restaurant located right on a busy street with lots of traffic. Some parking spaces along the street. Staff members very welcoming and friendly. Music was all 60’s music (which I felt right at home). Food was fresh, tasted awesome and price was fair. Highly recommended!

Delicious. Buffet-style vegetarian-friendly healthy eating.
But prices are questionably expensive... I spent $35-40 on filling up one plate.

This is one of my favorite spots in town! The food is incredible- my favorite is the curry tuna sandwich, and the soup is wonderful as well. The staff is extremely warm and personable, I always leave feeling so pleased with my experience here.

What a great restaurant! Funky and friendly and comfortable, with a wide range of really great food and tons of vegan options. We had a fabulous lunch here. We chose from the buffet, which had several absolutely delicious vegan offerings as well as plenty for omnivores. The walls are covered with such interesting art. And the people here are so nice. Highly recommended

My recent visit to Zabby & Elf's Stone Soup presented a mixed bag of experiences. I appreciated their concept, particularly the extensive hot and cold bars brimming with vegetarian options, truly a menu dominated by plant-based choices. Yet, not every dish clicked. I found some vegetarian hot bar items disappointingly bland, lacking the vibrant flavors I hoped for. The turkey reuben, surprisingly, had an odd, off-putting sweetness that was a definite miss for my palate.

Despite these culinary inconsistencies, some food items were genuinely delicious, showcasing good diversity. Be mindful of the $15 per pound buffet price, though sandwiches are large enough to share. A useful tip: always ask for their free bread!

The atmosphere and service, however, were exceptional. The place boasts a cool vibe, with a big open window ideal for sunny days. While indoor seating felt a tad intimate, outdoor options were available. The staff stood out—incredibly friendly, engaging, and genuinely warm, elevating the entire experience. While the flavors can be a gamble, Zabby & Elf's welcoming environment and stellar service make it worth a visit, especially for those seeking abundant vegetarian selections.

I hope the owner(s) of this restaurant reads and corrects the problems that we encountered on May 27 2025. The food and atmosphere of the restaurant is not the issue. The staffing is. Yesterday was the second time we encountered poor customer service and ridiculously long wait times .
Not because the restaurant was particularly busy but because of inattentive and neglectful staff. From not taking an order correctly to waiting for over 35 minutes for a simple sandwich to being charged incorrectly, this restaurant needs more competent staff. People who can actually take an order properly, prepare it and serve a lunch sandwich in a timely manner before it’s time for dinner.
