Wonderful family environment with super friendly staff, fantastic in house smoked meats and craft beers! Not sure what more you're looking for in Vermont other than perhaps a scenic drive through Smugglers Notch which happens to be right up the road.
We had so many good times here. We go every time we visit. Always a blast. Good food too. This time it was seemingly closed the whole week? Permanently? Who knows. I’m not sure what has happened to the area. Nothing is open anymore or closes super early. So sad ?.
So we were skeptical about going here since we just left Red Fox up the street and the service wwas horrible. We didnt even get to sit down and we could tell. We walk in and no one even acknowledges us as they walked buy us like 7 times so I had to ask "should we seat ourselves?" She said no I will seat you in like 15 -20 minutes. So I looked in the dining area and there was barely anyone in there. WTF?!?! How is service so bad these days. I dont get it. How do you make...
