Overall great restaurant! There were 8 of us and we were served promptly with a smile and a laugh. I had never been here before but if given the chance I would return. I got the wings as an appetizer, and the Bourbon Burger Rare. It was cooked as requested and tasted delicious. Highly recommend!

I used to like The Tavern. The food is priced well and consistently decent. I feel unsafe and unwelcome there. The regulars can get really violent and threatening. Many are pro Trump. The bartenders don't care if the regulars are overserved and threatening people like myself. They will keep serving them and make you leave, even if you are sober and minding your own business. I have had to leave 3 times because of threats, I was minding my own business all of those times.

This place was great! We felt like we were being cared for by family! They accommodated our group of like 12! They separated the checks with no issue. The alcohol selection was superb. The food was great! The prices were fair and the portions were quite large! Give this place a shot! You will not be disappointed.

Stopped after hiking Mt. Mansfield. Food was delicious but service was a bit slow as we were there in the middle of the afternoon rather than typical dining hours.

The worst service I have ever experienced. We were seated and then two groups were seated after us. Both parties were waited on before us. After seeing this we got up and left.
Went here for the first time today! This ended up being my first sit down meal in Vermont, and our server Kristina was amazing! The food was on point, and it's a really friendly atmosphere with good food! Thank you Village Tavern!
