Now known as the Ice house. Sorry but not good at all. French fries tasted more like fish than potato. Heinz ketchup was thinner than water. If possible. The only thing good was the service. Overheard many complaining while there. Your better off having dinner at stewarts.

Cozy tavern atmosphere with a varied menu! I had delicious Surf and Turf with petite steak and Scallops scampi. I didn't think I'd have room for dinner after the EXCELLENT salad bar with great soup and bread - BUT I DID!!

I went here because there were good reviews but I wish I had stayed home. The food was very expensive, and my server did not check on us to see how it was. I only had a few bites and wanted to order something else but once the food was dropped off, our server disappeared. My husband and I had to flag someone else down to find our server. Didn't even ask why I didn't eat my food. Don't really recommend. Plus some of the food at the salad bar looked old.

My husband and I have been eating here for years. Our socks weren't blown off, but it was good, hearty, local food. We liked it. I went for takeout----three expensive entrees. They packed these liquid-filled entrees in paper that melted and everything turned into a globby soup in the bottom of the bag. Okay, I tried to make the best of it. For the seafood pasta, the clams were raw. Not undercooked, raw. They disagreed (Lisa, I believe her name was) said that the soup at the bottom of the bag was the price I should be willing to pay to "save the environment." No comment here, as that is too insane to respond to. The chicken parmesan had zero breading on it. Just chicken, no breading. I don't know about the lobster ravioli, that was for someone who hasn't come home yet. They lost two loyal customers today. Keep this up, they will go the way of a lot of local restaurants in Vermont lately---shuttered doors. Stay away. A mistake is one thing, a lousy attitude is quite another.
