My husband and I enjoyed sausage and gravy biscuit and a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich and hot coffee. The food was all piping hot and excellent! Great service! Happy we stopped in.

Great service and excellent breakfast in both of our recent stops. The biscuits used for sausage gravy & biscuits are incredible!!!

A classic Silk City Diner restaurant (with added space), true to its roots! They even have an original Silk City Diner business proposal marketing slick on the wall that shows the original layout so you can see that it's all original, right down to the number of stools at the counter and the menu boards overhead.
But more importantly, the menu is delicious and the coffee is always ready!

Traveling around Vermont on vacation, we stopped here for lunch. So glad we did.

Just an old school diner with friendly staff and classic well prepared diner food.

I had the fried clam strips with fries. Both perfectly cooked. So easy to make clam strips rubbery. These were great.

My wife had a beef barley soup which was very good as was her grilled cheese sandwich.

We even had a fruit pie a la mode just because.

Definitely would eat here again when we are in the area again.

Me and my fiancé are on a journey to try all the diners from Vermont to Rhode Island. This is definitely number one on our list. Everything we had was great. We even tried an egg cream for the first time. We didn’t love it because we don’t like seltzer but it still tasted good. So far this is the best place we’ve ever been.

My wife and I found this diner in our travels several years ago and stop here a few times each year. we had lunch there yesterday and it seems the food quality has gone down. she ordered the mushroom burger and said it was ok for being a frozen patty. I ordered the turkey burger because it used to be hand packed like the regular burgers. when it came out it was mushy and raw and clearly a frozen pre made patty and not fresh packed. It was horrible so I asked for a regular cheese burger. the waitress took back the turkey burger and then brought me back a plain frozen patty burger and then asked if I wanted cheese. It wasn't very impressive looking nor was the taste, and the fries that came on each of our dishes where just past room temp. When we found this place some years ago, the food was fresh and delicious, now it's just disappointing. My daughters Reuben had to come on sourdough because they were out of rye and she only ate half because it wasn't that good either. My wife only ate half of her burger as well as my grandson didn't finish his meal so we had three to go containers. I had to ask the younger waitress for a bag because our waitress was texting and blatantly ignoring me after the other waitress told her I needed a bag. The younger waitress ended up getting me a bag. unfortunately this place will be taken off our list of places to stop when taking rides because this is the second time the food quality isn't what it used to be and it's a shame because because it really is a cute diner in a cute little town.
