Great chill place with beer, food, and live music with an outdoor patio. We came pretty late (past 9 pm) and the servers were still very friendly!

I don't take this lightly.
And I won't get into details. IFYKYK...it could be so much more if you're going to invest in something like The Dog, get a manager who knows the business because right now, it's run like no one cares. It's worth the extra 10 or 20 grand. Way...

There has been little on the west side of Bomoseen until now. The owners have created a great setup with basketball courts, bocce, and other activities, along with a robust outdoor dining area with live music and other events. The food is nothing fancy but is good, and the menu has expanded the last few seasons. They changed the chips to fries as the sandwich side this year, which were a little unevenly salted. Other than the credit card fee and the Monday-Tuesday closure, this is a very good local spot along the lake.

Love this place. Food is always good, wings are always crispy, beer is always cold. Comfortable relaxed place to sit and enjoy some outdoor time and sunshine and food and friends. Lots of space and seating. Dog friendly!
Been wanting to try this place out, but it seems the hours on google aren’t correct. Just stopped by and there is no one there. Sunday 3/23/25 4:22 pm.
Perfect little bar on this quiet lake. Even on a holiday weekend the service was spot on! the food was reinvented American bar food that paired well with good local and staple beers and cocktails. The grilled tomato and corn salad is recipe we will try (and probably fail) to replicate at home and the po boy was worth the trip. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Perfect for full dinner but also the staff didn’t bother us when we just wanted our night cap after the meal while enjoying the live music outside. Overall, we were impressed with everything. All the food was a new way to thoughtfully present American food with local available produce and it paired well with the local beers we drank. As out of state folk with local family, this will be a new staple in our rotation of VT food and drink.

Very good food. I had the grilled Chicken with the corn salsa, tomatoes and cilantro dressing. It is a cold dish and it was amazing. The homemade potato chips are so good. I enjoyed my food thoroughly.

Long day of work and driving. Took at dip in the lake at the nearby boat launch for a quick poor man's bath, followed by a cold beer at The Bomoseen Dog. The absolute perfect place for the current vibe. Outdoors on the lawn, live music, background chatter of locals, good selection on tap. Couldn't be a more perfect end to a hard day.

The personal service to your wants, they listen to the “I wish you had” then you find they do. A great comfortable atmosphere. Even if your not local, they treat you you are family.
