Great spot! We skied the entire time we were in Vermont. Our room was cozy. Thank you for the stay
I believe if one experience I will be remembering is ,how kind and warm people are when metting you.
I could not have been more charmed by this vintage Vermont inn — from the wonderful owner to the ambiance, the nostalgic carpet and wallpaper, the delicious food, I was completely in love with it. This type of place is a gift and I'm so glad we still get to experience it.
The staff is absolutely amazing, 1000 stars! The chef and his crew cook up and serve some of the most delicious and beautiful dishes that New England could ever taste.
Five of us arrived to have dinner and drinks in the tavern. There was no one there to greet us. The main dining room appeared empty, and the tavern was not full. They did not have a table large enough to accommodate us, so I asked the waitstaff if we could put two tables together, and she said yes. Then a man who was sitting at a table with a group of people eating interjected and said absolutely not, it was not allowed. There were two tables right next to each other, and I asked if we could just put them together, he was adamant that the fire marshal wouldn’t allowed it. I went back out to the lobby to tell my friends, and they couldn’t believe it. Three of us went back in to ask if there was any way that they could accommodate us, and he stood up from the table and informs us that he was the owner, and proclaimed “I said no.” We told him we would take our money elsewhere, and went down the street to MacLaomainns Scottish Pub where we were greeted by friendly staff and had a nice meal in a warm atmosphere.
If you have getting kicked out of a restaurant on your bucket list try the Fullerton Inn. Just show up with a table of 5 and the man in the bar will happily call you stupid and tell you to get out.
A group of friends and I came in for dinner last night. We were met by a very rude and unwelcoming man in the bar area who yelled at us when we asked if we could put two tables together. It was very off putting and the decor was lacking. Very disappointing and we will not be returning. There were five of us and we would’ve been happy to have a nice meal and cocktails and spend our hard earned money at the Fullerton Inn, but apparently he did not want our business.
Went to celebrate a homecoming of sorts. Stayed at the inn years ago when it was a part of a writers weekend sponsered by Misty Valley Books New Writers for a New Year. I met several writers to include Arthur Golden, My Life as a Geisha, Daniel Hecht, Skull Sessions, and Mail, Memeve Medwed to name a few.
Back then a lot of folks and an exciting time. Two years ago we went p for a long weekend to see if we could bring back lost memories. No such luck. The place was a far cry from what was also called The Inn at Long Last. The room we stayed in had a window that did not close completely, one bright light in the ceiling and a small shower and toilet in a closet. It took 45 minutes for dinner and our waitress informed us that we were her last customer as she was let go by the current owners who only stopped by a couple of days a month. The fireplace did not work and the runners on the stairs had holes in them.
Because the manager could not get the window closed we decided to leave and go back to our home in Georgetown.
Our waitress, Chloe, was amazing! She was the only wait staff and running the bar also. Very courteous and professional!
Stayed here a few years ago. We enjoyed it so much. No problem not having a tv. You come here for the nostalgia not 5 star hotel on broadway.

We stopped by for dinner at the Fullerton Restaurant and it was a nice surprise! Don’t let the outside of the building sway your opinion. Stepping inside is a delightful Inn and restaurant. With so many choices on the menu we had a tough decision. Both my husband and I went with the short rib after the waitress spoke so highly of it - she was right, it was delicious! Dinner was a great treat, service was excellent!
SO GOOD! FOOD IS AMAZING!
Sat out on the front porch. Food is great service great and drinks great.
Took our app order stating we weren't ready to order entree yet. Waitress came back 25 minutes taking our menus like we were all done. Never checked in on more drinks. Then took order for entree. Waited 20 minutes for that (pasta dishes- how hard is that?) Not hungry any longer. Asked to take meals in a box. We tried it out. Hope it's better for others.
My husband and I had been wanting to visit the Fullerton Inn for quite a while and finally had the chance. It was an enjoyable evening with good food and excellent service. We will definitely be back and invite some friends to join us for dinner. Thank you
Stopped in after a day trip to the area. Our server Kerrigan was great. The Butternut bisque was a little disappointing, but the entrees were excellent! Overall, great experience!
