Historic hotel with great ambience and great restaurant. Had their shrimp cocktail and chicken piccata over pilaf. Their cocktails are good too. A bit over priced but still worth to give it a try.
Take a step back in time and slow things down with a great meal and friendly and capable service that is missing in the service industry today. There is a reason why they have stayed open through centuries. The hotel is modern yet simple feeling without being overboard. The beds are amazing to curl up in and the oversized jacuzzi allows for an intimate setting.

My only issue was a drink that I ordered (the Hendricks spritz, I think) tasted just like a straight shot of gin. I'm not deducting points because I'm not familiar with gin drinks, maybe they're all like that?
