A nice alternative to the main lodge, if you can get a table. You order your food at the bar and they bring it to your table. Good burgers, self serve soft drinks with free refills.
The burgers here are incredible. Everything seems fresh. Fries were excellent and the mac and cheese is real. Of course, it's at a ski mountain so the prices are high but you already expected that.
It's a nice place to come off the mountain and grab a bite to eat. My girlfriend and I split a burger and Fry's which wasn't to heavy if we wanted to go back out on the mountain. The kitchen isn't hidden and the servers were fine. I would probably go back, but after I tried other restaurants at the base first. The shakes did look delicious, but I didn't end up getting one.
