We should have gotten 2 orders per person.The girls helping us were very friendly and did a great job.We also were able to pick up some touristy souvenirs and some maple taffy.Ad they are also a general store they do have a selection of groceries and staple goods as well as a full fledged gift shop upstairs.And don’t forget about Carmine’s ice cream shop located at the same location.The Freighthouse market and cafe is well worth a visit when in Lyndonville.Vegetarian options: The avocado toast and maple pull aparts are vegetarian at least if not vegan they had hash browns and other pastries as wellParking: At least 25 parking spaces available also on street parking is ample throughout town“
“Heaven on earth in East Burke. We have family in East Burke, and Auntie Dee Dees is the go-to on Sunday mornings for fabulous pastries and all kinds of breakfast/brunch treats. Call ahead and order. You still may have to wait in line a bit because it's a small shop, but worth it.“
