“Most small stores that are located in gas stations usually are not the same as standalone stores. This one was the exception. On a weekend day around noon they still had every item we wanted. Amazing. Very impressed with the service and selection. Great job team.“

“I stumbled upon this little gem. I saw a small bakery sign on the corner of Portland street that lured me in. I was torn between a beautifully seductive brownie or a chocolate crinkly cookie. I opted for the cookie and it did not disappoint. Rich, moist baked ho perfection. Sourdough based bread and croissants looked delicious. Check this place out I know I will be for sure“

Bentley's Bakery & Cafe Bakery • $
20 Hill St, Danville - 10.79 miles

“Now, that’s how you make a cake!Bentley’s Bakery became my favorite when I bought a birthday cake from them last week. They’re the best when it comes to cakes and other baked items. The person is really sweet and appreciable, and helps you as much as she can. The cake in itself was one of the most delicious ones that we’d had in a long time. Do place an order in advance and she’ll make it tailored just for you! This is one that I’d recommend anyone traveling around the place.“

Locally Social Coffee Coffee Shops • $
757 Portland St, St Johnsbury - 7.74 miles

“I drive from Bethlehem to get their half gallon of The Road Runner coffee. It is SO good. The perfect blend of flavors. I get one for my ride home too. I love how welcoming and kind the owners are. They always have good conversation and locally crafted goods to share. Their coffee is such a delicious and energizing addition to my work days during the week. It is take out only, not a cafe. If you have a chance to use the bathroom, check out the picture on the wall, it is such a vibe and says a lot about the kind of energy this place puts out into their community ??THANK YOU LOCALLY SOCIAL ?“

“Heaven on earth in East Burke. We have family in East Burke, and Auntie Dee Dees is the go-to on Sunday mornings for fabulous pastries and all kinds of breakfast/brunch treats. Call ahead and order. You still may have to wait in line a bit because it's a small shop, but worth it.“

“We had some great Starbucks coffees and avocado toasts. The maple pull apart were to die for. We should have gotten 2 orders per person. The girls helping us were very friendly and did a great job.We also were able to pick up some touristy souvenirs and some maple taffy.Ad they are also a general store they do have a selection of groceries and staple goods as well as a full fledged gift shop upstairs. And don’t forget about Carmine’s ice cream shop located at the same location. The Freighthouse market and cafe is well worth a visit when in Lyndonville.Vegetarian options: The avocado toast and maple pull aparts are vegetarian at least if not vegan they had hash browns and other pastries as wellParking: At least 25 parking spaces available also on street parking is ample throughout town“
