“Had the Cajun Chicken Baton! Awesome. Had Bacon, Sausage and Egg baton before, this was awesome too. Best sausage ever!! Very peppery, would definitely recommend this café. Great staff too.”
“It's a great place to go after a long day of riding or work .food was tasty and good .the atmosphere really was good ?.Parking: It's fine and you can park on the lot next to the main lot same walk distance if need be .”
“The food was delicious. I had a barbecue bacon burger that was delicious.Parking: There was plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: You might need someone to help with the doors, but it was pretty easy to move around.”
“We decided to go out for Thanksgiving dinner this year. My wife did a quick web search and found Wildflower Inn, and we are really glad she did. The restaurant is smallish but staff and food was excellent. T'giving specials were great, turkey dinner was perfect ! See you next year !”
“We have always enjoyed their food . However today our subs were actually horrible and our order of fries that were suppose to be crispy came out with just a few fries and soggy Not sure who is cooking now , but …. No good ! Hopefully they get this corrected for future sales”
“This place is amazing! Best burritos in vermont!!! Everything is always tasty! Portions are HUGE! Prices are unbeatable and Staff and service is always ? ? ❤️ Thank you for amazing food!”
“Bravo, thank you to the person that made my sub tonight. It was the best Subway i have ever had. With the change in the menu on the app, i got my sub my way. Thank you. You did a fantastic job. ???”
“Dunkin Donuts is a New England staple! Although I prefer the other company's coffee, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about DD! My favorite drink is the caramel Macchiato with a shot of espresso...so stinking good!”
“We visited here while on vacation and are really glad we stopped! I got a chai latte and a peppermint crinkle cookie and both were delicious! Next time we are back in the area we'll stop by again!Parking: Street parking”
“Three Ponds is such a wonderful restaurant! The people who work there are exceptionally kind, the food is amazing every time, and the atmosphere inside is relaxing and cozy. Love this place so much.”
“Sometimes work brings me into the area and I stop here for lunch. Very friendly atmosphere and the food has been hot and delicious every time! Don't forget to try the desserts!!”
“Good beer selection, I ordered off the cocktail menu. The food menu has something for everyone. The pizza is perfect. Had a lovely afternoon catching up with a friend, great spot.”
“Now, that’s how you make a cake!Bentley’s Bakery became my favorite when I bought a birthday cake from them last week. They’re the best when it comes to cakes and other baked items. The person is really sweet and appreciable, and helps you as much as she can. The cake in itself was one of the most delicious ones that we’d had in a long time. Do place an order in advance and she’ll make it tailored just for you! This is one that I’d recommend anyone traveling around the place.”
“I drive from Bethlehem to get their half gallon of The Road Runner coffee. It is SO good. The perfect blend of flavors. I get one for my ride home too. I love how welcoming and kind the owners are. They always have good conversation and locally crafted goods to share. Their coffee is such a delicious and energizing addition to my work days during the week. It is take out only, not a cafe. If you have a chance to use the bathroom, check out the picture on the wall, it is such a vibe and says a lot about the kind of energy this place puts out into their community ??THANK YOU LOCALLY SOCIAL ?”
“Great brewery! Offers pizza and a wide selection of beers and even wine and cocktails in cans. Good spot in Vermont! Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Staff is always very friendly and prices are average.”
“Stopped in from a recommendation from the local record store. Everything was great! Food, drinks and the staff was amazing. They have a ton of events and new things to try. I will be stopping here Everytime I am in town!”
“What a wonderful addition to Danville and the Northeast Kingdom! I was so impressed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when I had questions about menu items. Thank you for being here!”
“Heaven on earth in East Burke. We have family in East Burke, and Auntie Dee Dees is the go-to on Sunday mornings for fabulous pastries and all kinds of breakfast/brunch treats. Call ahead and order. You still may have to wait in line a bit because it's a small shop, but worth it.”
“If you are looking for a laid back vibe, good beers, good people, and good times then Mike's Tiki Bar is a great place to be.This is a Happy Place, with Happy People. The staff are awesome and friendly even on the busiest of days. There are 30 reasonably priced beers on tap, plus a variety of canned and bottled beers, plenty of local and regional craft beers, domestic beers, seltzers, cocktails, non-alcohol beers and other non-alcohol beverage alternatives as well. This seasonal, outdoor only bar, seats plenty of people and is a great place to hang with old friends or to make new ones. This place has got it going on, with a unique combination of visitors from all over the country, and plenty of visitors from our friendly neighbors to the north in Canada as well, it is a truly enjoyable place to spend your time drinking your favorite beverage.Mike's Tiki Bar is located in the heart of what could arguably be called the mountain biking capital of New England, East Burke Vermont, home of the KINGDOM TRAILS. There is a large parking area that provides plenty of space for patrons, as well as a FREE place to park with easy access to the Kingdom Trail network. The VIBE....Like I said the vibe is laid back, but maybe that doesn't say enough. AWESOME is more the word to use here. The combination of people from everywhere, the locals, the mountain bikers (and there are a ton of them) and people from every place in between, just make for a very enjoyable atmosphere. You will hear laughter and stories from the day's riding adventures and you will see (and smell) mud covered mountain bikers with ear to ear grins on their faces as they sip on a beverage. You might even run into a guy with a mangled, broken arm that just got off the trail and should be heading to the hospital, stop in to have a beer first and tell his tale of the day, before his friends pack him up and bring him to the hospital. Seriously, this actually happened. That arm was so broken it was pointing in 3 different directions and flopping all over the place. The Food Situation: There are two food trucks there, a pizza truck and a tamale truck that has burgers, tamales, burritos and more. Good basic food to fill your belly and soak up some of that alcohol. Don't expect gourmet food here if that is what you are into, just good eats to fill your belly. Shockingly, on a busy day the Tamale truck can run out of Tamales once in a while (oh no) ? Have no fear though, there will almost always be something else available for food. The Parking: Well as I mentioned there is parking for bar customers as well as FREE parking for the Kingdom trails provided by none other than Mike himself. The parking lot can be quite a scene itself on a busy weekend with some of the coolest vans and van life people you may ever see or meet.Showers available on site as well to rinse off that mud and dirt.Vibe: AwesomeBeer: BEERVANAEntertainment: Live bands most weekendNow all this being said, is there anything bad...well not that much, but if you are looking for a place to charge your electric car just remember that this is a bar, not a charging station, so plan accordingly. They also don't have fuel pumps on site either so you won't be able to fill your gas tank up at the bar.Sometimes things get so busy in town that cell and internet services may go down briefly on very, very rare occasions. So there could be a period of time where you can't access your phone, (god forbid right), though you will probably be so busy enjoying yourself with old friends and new that you might actually not even notice. It may also get so busy that you might have to wait to get your beer....oh no. ?Also, If you are a self entitled person that feels the need to be rude to staff and thinks the world revolves around you, then be ready to have it given right back to you, as "notoriously cheap" Vermonters aren't ones to coddle you or cater to your bad attitude.Seriously, if you come here and don't have fun I feel truly sorry for you.... truly truly trulyNow time for a”
“We had a small Birthday party for my wife yesterday. It was a Perfect place to have it. Lynelle, was Fantastic! We had the Best pizza & the most delicious Poppers. Everyone loved the food and we can't wait to go back. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Lynelle and your staff.”
“Really cool place. First time for me and won't be the last. I've passed this place a lot during the winter season, but I'm connected to a snowmobile trailer and limited parking. Finally had a chance, and my Enchiladas hit the spot. Very good and filling.”
“The pizza is bang on perfect. The crust is crisp on the bottom but chewy on the inside. The sauce is tangy but not over powering. The cheese is just right. The current owner took over in July 2023 but has kept the place as it was known and loved and keeps the place very clean in here. She's polite and sweet. The seating is classic house of pizza seating. You can grab a booth for yourself and a few friends or put a bunch of tables together for bigger parties. This is your lunch spot when you're visiting St. Johnsbury!”
“Decided to try out something new and was not disappointed. I got two sushi rolls here (The Spicy California and The Dragon) Both were very good and had a lot of flavor. The Staff was super friendly and had a great attitude. Theres no interior dining but the ambiance was very welcoming. My only complaint was that the wasabi was a little questionable. The pickled ginger however was fantastic. I will definitely be back here.”
“I have enjoyed Eddie's donuts &pastries since I was a child & Mr Tony had a store in St. Johnsbury. Paul has certainly carried on the tradition of wonderful, mouth-watering goodies you expect to be served in a high rated restaurant. Than you so much for your goodies! From plain donuts to the fanciest of pastries.”
“WOW! My boyfriend and I went in second time as we were in the area. We ordered the Pork Belly app, Fried Pickles and Pot Stickers. For dinner we had the Meatloaf and Burger. Everything was spectacular, and that is not exaggerated. The lady who was waiting on us was extremely pleasant and gracious, and the atmosphere was lovely as well. Will definitely return when back in Burke. Keep up the good work guys!!! We love your place <3”
“A must stop for those in the area or just passing through. The smell of fresh baked breads and pastries fills the place. Friendly service and a place to relax. A must stop if u are nearby, we need more of these types of places!”
“Food is generously portioned and delicious. Always hot and when it is takeout it comes as it should; fully sauced, accurate, and packaged well! I do not eat in as it is not in an uncomfortable area of town. The building, although clean inside, is old and not my favorite eat in spot for this type of food.Parking: Across the road. Lock your doors.”
“Great food and great beer served by great people. The view is gorgeous. We were the only customers for some time but everybody was very nice and the food was delicious. The curry bowl was delicious and the brussel sprouts were nicely roasted with a bit of char which went nicely with the interesting sauce.”
“Carmen's Ice cream may be the best I've ever had and I have been eating ice cream for 65 years often. It is located in the Roadhouse which is a treat in itself. I”
“We have been going here for many years which started when our daughter was at Lyndon State. Always have a great meal and plenty of it. We came in around eleven in the morning and had breakfast which was delicious and great coffee!”
