My youngest son, who is very picky when it comes to good, told the owner as we walked out “that was the best breakfast!” Friendly service, great atmosphere, food came out to us fast and it was DELICIOUS!!!! “While traveling through New England, I visited this restaurant today for the first time...with several local friends. The restaurant was conveniently located, nicely decorated outside and inside, had plenty of free parking, was not greeted upon entering, were seated within a couple minutes, the dining room and our table were clean and neat, the menu with rather simple, but adequate, my Vermonter Omelette meal was very tasty, prices were reasonable, our server was friendly and efficient and served us well, and would gladly visit this diner in the future.”

“This restaurant gets a lot of negative reviews but I find it quite good. The General Tso chicken I find superior to any other area restaurant. Yes the fried rice is different, etc. but I believe the owners are from the NY-Nj area. Personally, I have grown tired of all the local Chinese restaurants being clones of one another. Asia In Lyndoniville, New Century in St. J. and Woodsville, Sunny Garden in Woodsville, Asia Gourmet in Littleton. All of these places have identical menus and food that tastes the same. Its a joke. Try this place for something different.”

“Went there a couple of weeks ago and ordered General Tso, beef chow fun and egg rolls. All three were noticeably superior to any of the other local restaurants.. Beef chow fun really stood out. Amazing flavor, and a dish you don't find around here. Would love to see them add Banh Mi sandwiches and Vietnamese caramel chicken. Definitely a cut above everything around here and highly recommended.”

“Probably the healthiest lunch I’ve had in a restaurant in years. Though not strictly vegetarian there were plenty of veggie and GF offerings. I had a green salad made with beets, carrots, cabbage, baby tomatoes and mixed greens. It was lightly dressed with balsamic vinegar and was nice. Also had a yummy vegan squash soup. My spouse had a stew with beef and sausage, beans and vegetables. The flavor was mild but yummy. Everything was very fresh and the staff was pleasant.”

“I absolutely love your brownies they are so big and moist and 😋 yummy! Eating a plain one is perfectly fine but the flavored (c.c.) ones are great too! My favorite is the raspberry! “You can't beat a good ol' ice cream window. Carmen's has easily become a household staple. They have a variety of soft serve, hard icecream, milkshakes, and even vegan options! It is always delicious, and staff is the sweetest. We will definitely be stopping by all the time this summer. I just wish they had more outdoor seating.

“Great for local products, souvenirs, and specialty food items. The ice cream is delicious with many options to choose from - definitely my favorite place in town for dessert! I recommend the maple latte, but it's quite sweet so ask for less depending on your preferences. Note that the coffee is expensive especially if you add flavors, cold foam, etc.”
