“sarah created a wonderful celebratory lunch for after our small courthouse wedding there in st. johnsbury 3 weeks ago. it was just for us and our two friends - and it was perfect! we stopped ina few weeks prior and made the plans with sarah there in the restaurant. she stayed in touch with us through texts - sharing possible options, dishes she loves to cook, making sure we had eveything that we liked and wanted to have on the day. it was all delicious and presented beautifully! we had the place all to ourselves except towards the end when a very lovely group of 6 came in to dine and were sweet and friendly and took a couple of group pictures for us. everything about the luncheon was as delicious and lovely as we had hoped it would be. thank you sarah for your contribution to our special day!”

Highly recommend sitting in getting some good food and rest a bit if you are traveling, even have a shower if needed for a small fee!”

“We were there tonight (not our first visit and definitely not our last) for Valentine’s Day dinner. Everything was fabulous. The Valentine specials were so good! I had the Crab cakes appetizer and Salmon on strawberry salad for my entree and both were excellent. Hubby had stuffed mushrooms and steak Gorgonzola from regular menu, also excellent. We brought home our special Valentines Dessert for later!! Rebecca is a super server! Very outgoing, friendly and attentive! Thank you for making our evening special!”

“In general I would recommend this Dunkins. But! The staff here are under staffed and always training. There just isnt even space to productively produce their work load in a timely manner! Most of the time I will only order ahead with my app. I know to give them atleast 10 mins. This one desperately needs a drive thru! Even if you only put it straight thru on the right side! This would make a huge difference in times and frustrations for the staff and customers alike! I often see very frustrated, impatient and rude customers. They have had it for waiting and tend to get very snappy with associate's. I have yet to encounter an outright rude employee or an incorrect order. Yes these ladies behind the counter are cramped and running like chickens with their heads cut off! Buuutttttt, they pump it out 2! There is never ever someone standing around behind that counter. I always leave a tip and say thank you because I remember the days working alone behind a dunkins counter and serving HUNDREDS of folks in less then 3 hours at minimum wage salary!”

“A Danville, VT gem! We just had lunch there, the 2 guys had the cheesesteaks and I had the seared ahi tuna sandwich. Cocktails and the whoopie pies are delicious! Relaxing, CLEAN atmosphere with good music. You owe it to yourself to check it out!!!”

My youngest son, who is very picky when it comes to good, told the owner as we walked out “that was the best breakfast!” Friendly service, great atmosphere, food came out to us fast and it was DELICIOUS!!!! “Went there a couple of weeks ago and ordered General Tso, beef chow fun and egg rolls. All three were noticeably superior to any of the other local restaurants.. Beef chow fun really stood out. Amazing flavor, and a dish you don't find around here. Would love to see them add Banh Mi sandwiches and Vietnamese caramel chicken. Definitely a cut above everything around here and highly recommended.”

“You can't beat a good ol' ice cream window. Carmen's has easily become a household staple. They have a variety of soft serve, hard icecream, milkshakes, and even vegan options! It is always delicious, and staff is the sweetest. We will definitely be stopping by all the time this summer. I just wish they had more outdoor seating.

“The Freighthouse is phenomenal. The food is all fresh, and organic, and delicious. They have options for pretty much all diets, and they easily have the best Vegan breakfast options in the NEK. Add in the specialty food store section, the gift section, and the ice cream window and this place is just the best. We've been going there regularly for over 15 years and they just keep improving and improving. This is a must see/stop if you are visiting the NEK. The owner and proprietor is continuously updating, upgrading, and improving the space and the menu and has made customers for life out of our family!”
