food good .went to pay only had 50$ bills gave her 2 . 63.27 got back 6.73??? I stood there looking at change .I gave you 100$ no 50 and 20.she opens drawer pulls out 50 and then 20 .I see that but I gave you 2 50$ just walked away .well gave her 36.73 tip
Food was horrible, 6 empty bins. When we complained they said they were getting ready to close because of weather so they stopped cooking. I asked why we are being charged full price she responded, "You lucky we open" No! you're lucky I paid the bogus bill of 52.00 for lunch for 2. Oh, they now add on 18% gratuity automatically, you have no say about it.
We love the Grand Buffet!! Food is consistently excellent!! The staff are attentive and kind.
The only buffet in the area, so it is good!

I recently visited Essex Junction Grant Buffet with a group of 7-8 people, and unfortunately, the experience was not great. The food was just okay, nothing special, and it seemed like it had been stored for a while, despite looking high quality at first glance. It’s a buffet, so we served ourselves, which makes the automatic 18% gratuity feel excessive.
The staff didn’t seem interested in customer service at all—almost like they didn’t care if you ate or left. The cashier, in particular, could use a lesson in customer service. A polite and smiling face during business hours would go a long way instead of the rude attitude we encountered.
Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations, especially for the price we paid.

So apparently they start charging gratitude automatically and won’t mention or say anything . I asked and waitress said go to my manager which I did and she said SIGN at the door . I don’t have problem paying gratitude which I always pay 18-20 % each time . On my way out I looked for so called SIGNS it was on bottom of sandwich board in TINY letter GRATUITY MAY BE ADDED AT WAITRESS DISCRETION Please be careful and make sure you check yours bills before you pay .

The food was very good. I got my food to go, and got way over charged. I used two take out boxes, one for my meal and the other just for crab rangoons, it cost me almost 20 bucks... It would have been cheaper to dine in!

Insanely good value for the price. I have yet to eat anywhere in the area for this little price wise, and despite arriving right before closing time, found the food to be good quality and absolutely delicious.
Great variety of food, very kind staff, remember our names! love this place
Be aware that this restaurant has been applying an automatic 18% gratuity at the checkout now, which can be quite costly, especially if you're a party of more than three. Don’t even bother trying to discuss it with the cashier : she will only reprimand you. It feels like this asian restaurant ignores the asian saying, 'If you can't smile, don’t run a business.'...

This restaurant is really underrated. The buffet food is always warm, and the establishment is clean. They have restrooms here. Good dessert options like ice cream, and sweat foods. The waitress was friendly and they have a good selection of soft drinks, and more.
