I've been going to Hop Sing for what must be 10+years, after a coworker was reheating some leftovers that looked and smelled amazing. I was not disappointed and haven't been since. They make most of their food in house and it shows. There are few things on the menu that I prefer elsewhere. Authentic. Family run. Large portions. Been looking for a place like this. The portions are large and the meat isn’t low quality like most Chinese places. The chicken wings are amazing.And the egg rolls are huge. We also had general tso’s tofu and the hand made dumplings. Respect to all the cooks and people running the business.They are definitely trying and it shows! We fed 7 of us for $88 and have TONS of leftovers. I ordered takeout from Hop Sing today and it was fantastic. I am American Chinese and this reminds me of the food I grew up eating.Hop Sing is the most authentic Chinese food that I’ve had in Vermont.
