McGillicuddys Five Corners

We were a party of 6. High table near the bar. A Saturday night. We had a great time and were never rushed.
Our food was good and quick. Our drinks were the same.
I had fish tacos, which were great! 3 came in the order. I ordered onion rings with them because I was expecting less than I got. I didn't need the onion rings.
We got there @ 5:30 and stayed for 3 hours. Again, I never felt rushed to exit the joint. Our server even said we could spend the night if we wanted. Rare for a busy place on a Saturday night.
Parking was limited behind the building. But, as I typed, we got there early, so no trouble finding parking.
I would go back.

Good beer selection and friendly staff. Fish and chips were barely edible…at an Irish Pub.

Waitress took forever to get us our drinks, kept forgetting to bring water. Didn't clean up our dirty dishes either. Burger wasn't cooked right, sent it back and they only recooked half. I will not be back to this location.

I stopped in as this place was walking distance from the hotel. Great beer selection and the burger I got was fantastic. If in the area I would definitely stop back here for a meal. Didn't break the bank......

The Vermont Maple Burger 🍔 was much better than I thought it would be. Very convenient and not a long wait.

Take out was hot and delicious. Portion size for French fries was very small. I was a bit surprised (maybe a handful) alongside the club sandwich we got.

Was told 10-15 minutes but was willing to wait longer, it’s a Saturday and busy. Ordered ahead on the phone and ended up waiting 40 min, just for the food to be wrong. Asked for fried pickles and were given fried green beans. They took an extra 5 min fixing the order only for it to still be wrong when the Dublin club was originally ordered honey mustard to sub for the mayo, as we don’t eat mayo. At this point we were both starving and just decided to leave. Very disappointed since McGillicuddy’s usually has decent service. Don’t plan to return to due the incompetence of the staff.

I'm a disabled vet in a power wheelchair with a black German shepherd service dog. I just finished a four hour ride home from Boston and was starving. I went to this pub. When I came inside I sat just inside the door for about five minutes and there was no seats at the bar I could sit comfortably at the bar so I slowly drove around since no one greeted me or asked me to wait. Bartender or waitstaff. I found a seat on other side of restaurant where it was almost empty. I waited for ten min before someone came and wiped the table across from me but not mine. she came back twice intentionally ignoring me before I stopped her. She glares at me then angrily tells me I'm not allowed to seat myself smacking her hands together. I told her I had waited at the door but no one spoke to me and because I am partially blind I did not see a sign telling me to wait. She was screaming and slapping her hands that if I raised my voice to her she does not have to serve me. I told her I do NOT want HER to serve me. I had an alleged Manager speak with me and I explained what had happened. She told me no worries she would have a server come assist me. Couple seated next to me couldn't believe how badly the waitress had treated me said she should not be a waitress. I couldn't agree more. Never have been threatened by an ignorant child waitress before. I have eaten at many Irish pubs from Maine to New Jersey. Never have been treated so badly not even close. Not at any of hundreds of restaurants I have eaten at around the world. The couple who witnessed everything couldn't understand why she was so overwhelmed in a restaurant that wasn't even half full. I couldn't agree with them more. I was so disgusted I couldn't enjoy a meal there and just left. Ignorant waitress almost walked into my service dog as I was leaving and all I can say is extremely good choice for her that she didn't. I just spent $46 for steak tips and a Guinness in Boston before tip. Amazing service and food. I was at this bar once before and was ONLY person at bar. Service and staff like this are the reason so many fail and close. Personally I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. 27NOV24

Highly recommend going on Sunday's and getting a booth. Great place to watch the games and grab a bit to eat. Also, they currently offer 50% off their burgers on Sunday's. So go watch the games, order some nachos and a burger and maybe a cold beverage, and make Sunday's great again 😋.

This place is always dead inside whenever I go by it. I’ve eaten inside once and gotten takeout a few times and the food is always bland and soggy. The one time I ate inside there was no music playing and barely any people even though it was around 6pm which made it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Just a very dull atmosphere and not great food. One of the times I ordered takeout and got the nachos (which were $14) they were missing half of the ingredients listed on the menu and only had a small amount of cheese and soggy lettuce. The pico de gallo and guacamole was missing. I don’t know why I keep giving this place more chances when every single time I’ve been extremely disappointed. The kitchen also seems to take a long time to prepare food even though every time I go inside, there’s only a max of 3 other tables in the whole restaurant.

Nothing about this places is Irish! Everything is over priced as well! Food sucks too! Mediocre burger and service for 17 bucks! I wouldn't expect a tip with these prices!
