We recently hosted a bee-themed baby shower for my sister. Gladys took on our order of cupcakes with a really short runway and a long list of allergies to accommodate. She delivered three different varieties of delightful little cupcakes, right on time. Each of them was a treat to the eyes and taste buds. Her attention to detail is amazing. The whole process was really smooth and the end product was a huge hit with our guests.

We were visiting our son in Essex Junction, and the day of his birthday I thought I should get him a cake. I called two local bakeries at 9 am and both said we could not get a cake the same day, so I figured I'd blown in by failing to plan ahead. But I made one more call to Piece of Cake, and the owner said she could do a cake for us and have it ready in the afternoon. I was thrilled. The cake (chocolate with chocolate buttercream frosting) was beautiful. It was also absolutely delicious. The perfect chocolatey yum for a birthday treat.
