Fish was nasty mushy could not eat left hungry
I usually liked them - was so disappointed today $137 take out - ordered over the phone ( small local business, I always support local) came in order was not ready for another 20 min from the estimated time, the place was absolutely empty, so paying for my order I was asked to pay $35 tip ( for a take out ) it’s not a requirement - no alcohol beverages no waitress - jut a take out, I came home and lol so bad everything was so bad this time besides the lobster ( boiled plain ) , my last time ordering from that place
The lobster was chewy and the liver stuff was gross. The rice pilaf was not edible. I guess I should have tried the lobster rolls. But the coconut shrimp was great! I would not go back

Mom and pop shop. Counter service only. A solid creemee but I always come back for the clam chowder and fried haddock roll.
The clam chowder might be the best in the state. The haddock roll I always add lettuce, tomato and onion to- it’s always cooked perfectly which means it’s a flakey and messy sandwich. The buns always buttered and the produce is always fresh on the sandwich.

Very nostalgic restaurant. The only restaurant that I actually can’t finish my meal! The foods awesome and I love the nautical theme. The option to buy seafood is what makes it even better!

In the middle of Vermont, it's difficult to get quality seafood.
When I want to treat myself, I come here to get the largest order of fried oysters and belly clams I can eat.
Also a fantastic spot to grab a quick ice cream with the kids.

Ordered the haddok meal with sweet potato fries and coleslaw for take out and the fish was completely unbreaded when I went to eat it and barely any fish for what I paid. The coleslaw was disgusting way to much sugar it was completely inedible and I normally love a sweeter coleslaw. I called to let them know and they literally had me on hold will I could here them talking about the situation before even giving the manager the phone. So unprofessional. I did think maybe a locals point of view might matter so I made a courtesy call before even making this review but I was met with a lack of care honestly I wasn't even looking for my money back but they could of even offered to remake it or validate that clearly a mistake was made in preparation.

Had the gross fried clams. They were very large with a bad taste. I asked where they get their claims . She states we get what they deliver. Stay away from this place . Wife and aunts meals was very small. I wouldn't have fed this food to my dog .

This lobster roll was absolutely worth the money for me! I had a great lunch here, and definitely would have bought stuff from the market if I was local.
