This place is great! I grew up in this town and am very happy to see a place of this quality. The proprietor is knowledgeable about the area's history and certainly about how to brew an excellent beer. Many customers have noted that if this unassuming and historic (original tin ceiling, original bar and original tile floors) brewery were in Saratoga, NY or Exeter, NH, the place would be teeming with customers on a daily basis. My hope is that this biz can attract regional...
Wonderful small town brewery, focused on the beer, but with an excellent bar snack menu. Possibly the best hot pretzel I've ever had.

Really good beer, sandwiches and super staff. They make stouts, porters, pilsners and Scottish Ale and IPA.Not an IPA fan so I love the choices.Too many Vermont establishments are 80% IPAs..not for me. I love this place!
