We only go for breakfast because their omelette is great big enough for two people and the bowl of oatmeal also very large the person cooking is very pleasant but the last time we went the owner didn't offer to sit us even though there was an empty table all that was needed was two more chairs for us to be seated, she did tell us it would be a wait for our food and you don't have to stay I felt that should of been our decision our feeling was she didn't want us...

Good food, very rustic little place. The servers were elderly woman and it made me feel like i was getting to have breakfast with my grandma one last time ( she passed a few yrs back) it was a great morning and first date place for me.

Great homestyle cooking for cheap. The Soldier offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant staff. If you're looking for a nice diner to stop into, you won't find better in town.
