Drove from Saint Albans because they were open late on Sunday. Staff were very nice and pizza was top notch. I’ll definitely go back.

Really fantastic pizza. You can't do better, big or small, from coast to coast. This is what pizza should ALWAYS be. A must stop.

We have tried to like this place on 3 different occasions. For the price and aesthetic one would expect an artisanal pizza but instead we have always been utterly disappointed. Burnt, lack of toppings, bland crust and barely any sauce. This pizza rates as bad as little Caesar’s or worse.

I recently had my third visit to Stone's Throw Pizza in Fairfax, and it was another fantastic experience. This time, I tried the 16" Blues in the Night pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The white sauce base, combined with the herbed ricotta, created a rich and creamy foundation, while the blueberries and fresh basil added a unique and refreshing twist. The honey drizzle brought everything together perfectly, balancing out the flavors with just the right amount of sweetness.
The Caesar Salad was fresh and crisp, with the romaine lettuce providing a nice crunch. The asiago cheese added a sharp, tangy flavor that complemented the house-made croutons and Caesar dressing. I appreciated that the dressing was served on the side, allowing me to control the amount and keep the salad from becoming soggy. Paired with a refreshing ginger ale, it made for a satisfying meal.
The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff attentive to every detail. The ambiance at Stone's Throw Pizza is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The rustic décor and cozy atmosphere create a perfect setting for a casual dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Fairfax, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Great Food and friendly staff, no doubt about it! However, they provide no table service and have a built in 17.75% service charge and a 3% credit card fee when the price of food is so high who carries that much cash. It reflects this entitled generation, rather than earn it with great service they feel entitled and they believe they earn it because they want it. Situations like this lead to mediocrity with no incentive to go above and beyond and earn a almost 18.% tip. So if you use a credit card and with the rooms and meals tax you are paying about 35% over the food for the most profitable food in America, Pizza. Very typical of today's generation who favours big "tell you how to live your life or Socialistic government" where you have no say! Building in a 18% tax removes a customers voice even if they were going to tip more. Want to know what is wrong with America it's the entitlement generation who live off the backs of those of us that have given them everything!

Was recommended the blt pizza so ordered it and and it was ok (not too crazy but it hit the spot) But would have chosen something else if we picked. Their beer menu wasn’t too impressive either but it was the only decently rated restaurant open at 6 on a Sunday. Not your typical sit down restaurant. It’s more of an order up front and you can eat it there. If you order beer/a drink, you don’t get it first. You’ll have to ask for it before you sit down. The interior was cute and had cool decorations/pictures.

Not bad at all, except the tiny beer selection. They only had fiddlehead on tap and no other ipa's. I think fiddlehead tastes like weed. The BLT pizza was yummy. Ask for parmesan and red paper flakes once you get your pie. Not much else in the area.

Yummy pizza and all servers were extremely nice - just wish that it wasn't stifling hot while trying to eat in.
We ordered two pizzas one small and one large. The total was over $50 which isn’t a huge deal for us for good food. The small was just a pepperoni and it was decent as far as pizza is concerned, nothing to “write home” about. The Buffalo chicken pizza was hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had in Vermont or anywhere for that matter. They used red pizza sauce which was very sour and acidic and thin consistency, like tomato soup taste and consistency. It was just over all really unappealing and didn’t have any buffalo flavoring. I had one piece and my husband had one and before I could say it he said “this is awful pizza”. Don’t order the buffalo pizza that’s for sure, yuck.

I just found out they automatically add 17.5% to the order.. I got take out and was auto charges this without telling me about the "New policy." I think it's crazy on top of crazy prices. Probably won't go back..$59. For 2 large pizzas!!?♀️

For a business to add a tip fee on pick up orders is downright wrong. When the wait staff doesn't provide a service other picking up your order and handing it to you, it doesn't rise to the level of having earned an 8+ dollar tip. I put together an online order that came to $45.00+ they had the audacity to add an $8.00 tip to the final bill! Absolutely acidic to do that to paying customers. When did it become the person who decided to pick up an order responsibility to fill the waitstaff's coffers? PATHETIC!!
