I love Broken Hearts Burger, because the food is great, the service excellent, and the ambiance is so cool. It has been a wonderful place to bring the whole family, and we are going to miss it so much, now that the owner is closing it and changing to a different concept.

Didn't realize upon ordering that there is an imposed 17% gratuity, which is legal but extreamly tacky for a burger joint. This is not fine dining, therefore people should be able to decide what they feel is a fair tip or whether fast food warrants a tip at all especially if said food is for take out. Now that being said my husband went in to pick up our order and he's very cheery person and the woman at the counter was a complete snob to him and was unable to even provide us with utensils nor did they have any for us so we couldn't eat our food until we went and got some from a gas bar. Not my issue but I couldn't believe the way the owners handled themselves on here with other bad reviews or criticisms. Customers are not always right but you do not publicly attack people who leave poor reviews even if you take it personally and don't agree you should handle the situation in a more professional manner.
food, they didn't put gravy on our poutine, Tenders were fine but kinda sweated in the closed take out bag. Again didn't get any cutlery
Maybe they had good reviews in the past but it's really gone downhill and needs to work on thier attitude and how they conduct themselves with thier customers. Management included

They had one of the best veggy burgers I've ever had since I went vegetarian. Highly recommend!
They also clearly care about their staff as they have an automatic 17 percent fee which makes tipping optional. I always appreciate when places care about their workers so I value that as a customer too.

Take a trip back to the 80's in this super chill burger joint! Had to stop on to try the philly cheesesteak after seeing it on Instagram. As a philly native, I must say this is hands down the closest thing to a true philly cheeseateak I've come across in vermont! Will definitely be back to try the rest!

The food was very good & tasty but the french fries are a bit hard . The lighting are a little dim over the booth area . The driveway needs to be filled in the pit holes & resurfaced to the rear parking lot plus needs outdoor lighting for security purposes.
The beef burger has a great crust to it while being moist and delicious. A home run.
The fries are on point - crispy and perfectly seasoned.
Then there is the chicken sandwich...we had it Nashville style. Hands down the best chicken sandwich we've ever had. So moist and juicy, just the right amount of heat and a massive portion. It was insanely delicious. I'm still thinking about it...
Great service to boot.
A must if you're in the vicinity...heck it's even worthwhile to come here if it's out of the way.

The food is good. The burger and donuts had great flavor. I wasn’t fond of fries, but they were not bad, just not good.
My issue is the advertised price is not the real price. The owner said in another review it is a service charge and not a tip. If it is a service charge just add it to the menu price. The fact is a broken heart burger is not $14, it is $16.38. A double burger is not $12, it is $13.68. If you are adding a mandatory service charge just add it to the price of the food and don’t stick it at the bottom of the menu to make things look cheaper.
If you believe your heartbreak burger is worth $16.38, advertise it as such.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible for wheelchair users and difficult for others who have mobility issues due to the fact that the entrance is through an area of uneven ground.
