“This is one of those places you stumble upon and are so glad you did. My husband and I sucked in here after a grocery run and were so delighted. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, the food was good and owner was very personable. It has a coffee shop feel and you just want to hang out for awhile. We definitely recommend this place!”

“My boyfriend and I come to Stella’s often and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Unfortunately this evening our experience was overall pretty poor and our waitress was very rude. I have celiac and get gluten free bread every time. When I asked our server for gluten free bread she told me “We don’t do that here” and when I said I always am able to get gluten free bread at Stella’s she just walked off to check. She came back with the gluten free bread and put it on the table, which was fine, but didn’t say anything about previously shutting down my request. When my salmon came back largely raw (cold to the touch) in the center she condescendingly told me it was supposed to be that way and said it’s medium rare. I said I would try it but after eating a bite it was clearly raw and I asked to send it back. When I sent it back she rolled her eyes and seemed to smirk like I was being made fun of. At the end, we were offered free dessert but I was so upset at this point I just wanted to leave. If I were leaving a review based off just this experience, it would be 2 stars. However, I have had many lovely lunches and dinners at Stella with different staff.”

Took drink order, took food order, delivered food, checked on us, brought check. Right out of the server's handbook on how to wait a table. Crowded by quarter past 12. Looks like the locals come here for lunch during work. Says a lot for the place. We will be back.”

I’m not a morning person, but, she’s always very sweet and helps me start my day on the right foot. Grateful to have a wonderful smiling face and sunny disposition even at 5 AM!”

“We drove by this restaurant many times and finally decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant is owned by a man from Brazil and he is the chef. The menu features Brazilian specialties, Mexican food and pub food such as hamburgers and fries. The restaurant itself was once an old mill and it features components of the mill in the exposed beams above. There is a bar area and a restaurant area. The restaurant area features a large window where you can see a small waterfall and the main road going south. We were greeted and shown to a table by the picture window. After consulting with the waitress, we both decided to try dishes from the chef's native Brazil. My wife ordered the tequila lime chicken and I ordered the moqueca, a Brazilian seafood stew. The food arrived around 15-20 minutes later. Both dishes looked outstanding when they arrived at the table. My wife's chicken dish was steaming hot. I must say that my moqueca dish was excellent, clearly five star. There was a lot of fish, the vegetables were fresh, and the taste was excellent. My wife's dish, however, was very plain tasting. It lacked the tequila and spicy taste. It's almost like it was not marinated long enough. On the plus side, the rice and black beans were excellent. My wife gave hers three and a half stars. We both felt the service was excellent and the lunch was good enough for us to return for another lunch. It won't take much work to boost this restaurant up to five stars.”
