“Craveable dishes are the pan fried dumplings (love the dipping sauce) and crispy sweet and spicy General Tso's Chicken. The Pork Lo Mein was meaty and savory. Love the generous portion sizes as well.”
“The BEST pizza I've ever had and I'm a gal from Providence RI. We know pizza! More pizza places in RI than New York! Lol. I also love their Italian sub. The man who owns it and his son are very kind and welcoming. The restaurant is always very clean too. It's my go to pizza spot up there. Amazing crust, great sauce and quality cheese and toppings. The girl Tiffany who said the sauce "has no flavor'' is nuts - probably a local competitor trying to bad- mouth this establishment. Try it for yourself. It's great!Vegetarian options: Veggie Pizza - FANTASTICSalads”
“These people are awesome, I stopped today as my 93 year old Dad loves their fish chowder, it was not on the menu but the kind server said they could fix some for him, within 20 minutes I had a bowl of chowder for my Dad, who doesn't eat real well. He ate all the chowder and said how delicious it was. Thanks so much.”
“I'm from New York and have been living in New Hampshire for the last five years. I have not found any good Chinese food restaurants around me in the lakes region. This place is the closest to NY Chinese food. The food was delicious!!! Must make the trip.Wheelchair accessibility: They have one.”
“This is the best burger King and the best fast food in the area. Miguel is the main reason, his personality and friendliness with attention to detail is amazing. You're lucky to have a 5 star employee named Miguel!”
“I have been to Jamie Lynn's a handful of times, and each time I order something different. EVERY dish and appetizer I have ordered has hit the spot with flavor! This is a family owned and operated restaurant, and the atmosphere is always welcome. Highly recommend with 5 stars!”
“This food coming off of this truck is mindblowing. Its so good I almost don't want to tell you how good it is (so there will always be more Cali Burritos for me). We had a Cali Burrito, some tacos de pescado and some fries. Plus Donna offered an off-menu cheese quesadilla and side of guacamole for my toddler. Everything was delicious, perfectly seasoned with enough complexity to be interesting (fried potatoes inside a burrito? yes please), but nothing was overpoweringly spicy or smoky. Just hands down delicious food and delightful, friendly service. I will be stalking their Instagram so I know when they are next near me.”
“There is so much to love about Sunnyside Coffee Co! The atmosphere is so cute and bright, the staff are always so wonderful, and the coffee/treats are amazing. Everything they sell is in support of local VT & NH businesses, which adds such a special element of their mission. Sunnyside is exactly what Fairlee needed.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp to access the shop, door opens inward.”
“Great food n staff that welcome you like family.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress had the personality of a loving grandmother to our son. Great place to bring your family.”
“Delicious breakfast burrito and coffee at a great local cafe. Visiting my grandparents here today and had a great chat with the friendly people here, especially Erin, thank you so much. I hope to come back again soon and bring my grandparents next time. Made my day so swell when life has been weird for me.”
“The burger was so tasty! I like they bring a large glass bottle to the table, and the fries! Everything is sourced locally, the price may reflect that some, but its all worth it to support local food sources. Very clean!”
“The best ice cream in the US (we have been everywhere) and you cannot miss this place!! Very kind and helpful staff and great lunches as well!! This is a must do if you are in NH or VT!!”
“This is one of those places you stumble upon and are so glad you did. My husband and I sucked in here after a grocery run and were so delighted. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, the food was good and owner was very personable. It has a coffee shop feel and you just want to hang out for awhile. We definitely recommend this place!”
“Happy we found this place- w as trying to get breakfast & all places were overcrowded - almost missed this place until I spotted their espresso flag - good going guys!!This place is a quick & quaint drive through. With just enough to get your morning started. Waiter was kind & helpful . Converting an espresso to a coffee for us & the bagel was delicious as was the eclair. At an unbelievably cheap price ?We are fom out of state but visit often & will return ✌️”
“From out of state - stopped in for lunch one day a while back - good food & service. Decided to go for breakfast recently - horrible service workers wouldn't even look our way let alone take our order so we left ?”
“We are frequent diners here because the meals and ingredients are consistently subtle, flavorful, nutritious using carefully selected high quality sources.Vegetarian options: Usually multiple vegetarian and vegan options.Parking: 30 spaces, space always available”
“What an amazing place. I cannot say enough good things about it. the food was so good. Our server was the best I've had in a long time. My first time here and I will definitely be going back.”
“We are local and frequent Forest St visitors, just about every week. I moved up to this area from downtown Boston. I know good food and was seriously missing my options. Forest St has consistently been able to exceed my expectations and fulfill my need for a good meal. The menu is full of amazing options, and I often end up ordering from their nightly specials. I am a particular and picky eater, so I am not one who would easily say that a place was amazing. But, if I had to pick one place to go and consistently be amazed, it would be Forest St Pub.”
“Ok so, 25 years later at the former spot of the Third Rail. This is why I Love Vermont. “Coolest food state in the nation”Unassuming, food was super funky. I had the Cajun catfish with crawfish entouifie (spell check) so Goooood.Great local beers, pool tableShush don’t tell anyone. Worth the trip off I-91Have fun, yum”
“Amazing, 10/10 ice cream, I ordered two phury's, one for my friend Moth and one for myself, and two large aroma joes in cones. Some guy took our order, super great service, super friendly. All around amazing, I'll be going back there this summer.”
“We were passing through Vermont on New Year's Eve and got a 'to go' order from Chans. The food was excellent and the woman at the register was pleasant.”
“Stopped in for lunch. Food was amazing. Way too much, so I had to eat it! LOL No need for supper. Service was, adequate, not bad, not good. Took drink order, took food order, delivered food, checked on us, brought check. Right out of the server's handbook on how to wait a table. Crowded by quarter past 12. Looks like the locals come here for lunch during work. Says a lot for the place. We will be back.”
“We ordered takeout this time however we have been regulars there since the kids were babies now they're all grown up and have their babies to bring to the restaurant love this place never ”
“Amazing prime rib, fried pickles, and cocktails . My husband ordered the cheese steak and it was the best he’s ever had. Service was spot on. Lots of history, just ask anyone and they will know! Awesome restaurant in a quaint little town.”
“We drove by this restaurant many times and finally decided to stop for lunch. The restaurant is owned by a man from Brazil and he is the chef. The menu features Brazilian specialties, Mexican food and pub food such as hamburgers and fries. The restaurant itself was once an old mill and it features components of the mill in the exposed beams above. There is a bar area and a restaurant area. The restaurant area features a large window where you can see a small waterfall and the main road going south. We were greeted and shown to a table by the picture window. After consulting with the waitress, we both decided to try dishes from the chef's native Brazil. My wife ordered the tequila lime chicken and I ordered the moqueca, a Brazilian seafood stew. The food arrived around 15-20 minutes later. Both dishes looked outstanding when they arrived at the table. My wife's chicken dish was steaming hot. I must say that my moqueca dish was excellent, clearly five star. There was a lot of fish, the vegetables were fresh, and the taste was excellent. My wife's dish, however, was very plain tasting. It lacked the tequila and spicy taste. It's almost like it was not marinated long enough. On the plus side, the rice and black beans were excellent. My wife gave hers three and a half stars. We both felt the service was excellent and the lunch was good enough for us to return for another lunch. It won't take much work to boost this restaurant up to five stars.”
“Now that’s what I call donkeys! My friend Geoff (pronounced like “Jeff” the o is silent) can eat sixty doughnuts for the troop, I just et one here. Wal mart has best doughnut but donkey gonna be great and got coffee too! Do yourself a favor and eat one with cream in the middle, the cream filling is better than the traditional ring because that has nothing (hole) where the cream would be. Quincy mass opened the first donkey in 1948 but woods hole New Hampshire has the finest donkey employees I’ve ever seen! A VERY well run operation. You may even find a blueberry doughnut when the season is right. Fella out front laying his eyeballs on my shirt because of the goat on it. And donkey jonkey in the parking lot was at home #hogheaven! Kangamangus got moose?”
“Absolutely wonderful staff and amazing food! We came in bit late treating my father in law to dinner for his birthday while he's recovering from a stroke. All the staff were super kind and helpful. I highly reccomend Sarkys to all its a truly wonderful and family friendly restaurant!”
“The steak mcmudfin was like dining at Ruth's Chris. Salty and savory, on the warmer, it was aged to perfection. The ample slice of cheese was something that could only have come from a high-end cheese shop from the North end of Boston.”
